Curious what the price is for Griffin. I'd love to package Plumlee/Aminu/Davis for Griffin or DMC...maybe even Love. Unfortunately I don't think LAC would be interested in that package.

And they'll probably get Westbrook too with all those draft picks and young players.

Westbrook, Griffin and Horford is a nice three

"The likely target for the Celtics, according to front-office sources, is Clippers forward Blake Griffin. The Clippers have been weighing trading Griffin all season , and the possibility of a three-team package involving Sacramento sending Rudy Gay to the Clippers has emerged. The Celtics would give up some number of their upcoming draft picks, but opposing front-office members say they don't want to give up either Brooklyn pick Boston can own in the next two years."

Yes please! I'd really love to see a migration of some of the leagues anointed superstars from West to East. This trade would be perfect for so many reasons.

First, it gets Griffin and his preferential treatment out of LA. Replacing Blake Griffin with Rudy Gay makes the Clippers weaker. Gay will never get the calls Griffin gets. The Clippers will effectively squander the remainder of Chris Paul's career.

Second, the draft picks and young talent going to SAC is irrelevant. They'll just fuck it up, like they always do.

Third, we need at least one team in the East that poses a serious threat to CLE. That team is not, and never will be, TOR. The West is a dog fight every year in the playoffs, but LeBron and his collection of super friends gets to waltz through the East without breaking a sweat. Why was LeBron so dominant in the Finals this year? Because he was so well rested. In the 67 days prior to the finals, he only played 16 games. In half of those games, he played less than 40 minutes. In 4, he played less than 34 minutes. 9 of those 16 games were blowout wins where LeBron got to coast. The Cavs had four days off prior to the finals. The Warrriors had one day off. We need a redistribution of talent between the two conferences so that both finals teams face a similar gauntlet on their way to the NBA Finals.

I'm all for anything that weakens the West and strengthens the East. We need more balance between the two conferences. The Cavs need to start earning their trips to the finals the same way the teams from the West do.

    Yep.

Part of me though likes how tough the west is compared to the east, and has been since the 90's

The joke that is the Leastern Conference has gotten old. LeBron has been smart to stay in the East as he knows it pretty much guarantees him an easy path to the Finals every year.

Packaging Plumlee, Aminu and Davis for Griffin or Love is not worth it to me...not even close to worth it. 3 rotation players for a guy with serious issues..griffin and a no show in the playoffs...love. I'll take Plums, big Ed and Chief all day long over those guys. To me....Ed Davis and Aminu are keepers...Plumlee will be a free agent so his deal could be moved but all 3? No way..Stotts is building his starting lineup to use Chief at the 4...he's earned a spot as a core player.

I love ya Riverman, but that's the most homeristic view I have ever seen.

You wouldn't trade Plumlee, Aminu, and Davis for Blake Griffin?

Nope....I'm not a Blake Griffin fan by any stretch..not for 3 rotation players I really actually do like....that's just my opinion...I like defense..Plumlee I have less attachment to...he's like Joel Freeland to me..but Ed and Chief are guys I love on the roster

I know, right? D league softball was way more fun than B league.

At least it was right up until I blew a hammy trying to stretch a single into a double.

And I would have gotten away with it, if it wasn't for you meddling kids... er... I mean... if my hammy would have blown one stride sooner, I would have been safe, because I would have ended up face down on second base instead of face down in the dust a few feet past the bag...
