So, we decided to pass on the South Pacific because of time and cost......and we decided we are going to Hawaii. Would love any or all of your recommendations and or experiences that could help us with our decision on which island to visit. We are looking for definitely a more quiet, chill and laid back experience. No snorkeling or touristy stuff. Quiet out of the way beaches is what we are wanting. Thanks ahead of time! Wondering if I should start a GoFundHCP?
Kauai or Big Island would be my recommendation for a more laid back trip. I like the Big Island best, particularly the Waikoloa Beach Resort area. You're out of the path of volcanic gasses there. Great beaches.
Go to whichever island Paul Allen has one of his yachts anchored off of... flash your Blazer employee ID... party!
Oahu is the party island. Crowded. No go for you. Maui is touristy. Lots of resorts and activities. Probably not what you want. Kauai is the laid back island. The one old people go to to just chill. That's your best bet.
if you choose the big island, pm me and i will be happy to share my local experiences and knowledge about the island her less visited and"secret" beaches. many will require 4x4 and hike, how does green sand grab you? when doe you plan on coming as kauai is by far the rainiest/wettest island?
Just come hang out here in the Florida panhandle. I know of many great state parks with nothing but miles and miles of white sand beaches with no one on them. Come to St Joseph here.
I can't recommend Kauai enough. We stay on the north Shore in Princeville cause it's even less people. There is a beach that is my wife's absolute favorite called Hideaways beach is a very short mini hike. But little to no people on it. Here's just kind of a clip of what it looks like
Thanks you guys. This is great. Any ideas we'll take. I should have mentioned we will be going in February during all star break.
This is what I'm talking about man! Beautiful. You guys can just picture me chillin on that beach right?
