Learn to read.... then.... well, read. (Reading in the context also includes reading between the lines.) I must have deleted my post by accident, or I didn't post it, but I was the first to vote "no". Not because I don't like Moe. My vote really wouldn't be "no". But I sacrificed myself and voted "no" because I couldn't have the fans looking any more like homers than we already are (except you, complete anti-homer MM). The 100% yes makes it seem like there's no risk here. This is a risk that could come back to bite us. I love me some Moe, and I'm very glad he's back, as I've indicated in a prior post. He has solid potential to be an important starter in this league. But he's still inconsistent, and he needs to continue to grow for this deal to work out. The second "no" is clearly my stalker.
Your on. You now owe me $5 bucks. Witnesses? I changed mine to yes and didn't change it back.. Because I would rather give this contract to him than lose him, but I do have concerns about him living up to this contract.
I agree he needs to grow(steady out his jumper etc.)... what makes the deal so good is he has so much room until his ceiling! Moe and Le'nards have essentially the same contract they are contracts that can grow into steals or into easily movable assets. I get youre logic about the boards but these deals were pretty safe.
Even if its more than four inches deep? And I cleaned the sewage out??? MAn.. Hard core around here.. @HailBlazers You heading over to help us paint and swim?
I did without even reading the thread. The poll didn't even specify from which perspective it is good. Moe was traded to the Blazers for an 89 Acura or something and now he's getting paid. I think it is a good deal for him. For Portland, probably not a good deal. Is it horrific? No. For the fans? None of these deals are good. Tickets are gonna cost 3000 dollars each.
It's weird how things have played out. Last year, this team was appealing because they were a group of no-names, with the lowest paid roster in the league, playing .500 ball through hard work. Next year, we're going to be a luxury tax team, and probably play .500 ball. Crabbe, Leonard, Harkless getting a combined 37 million? That's still 26 mil under the prior cap. They could be hard to trade if they don't really step it up.
