There is a very large variance when comparing Muchas Gracias joints. I think it directly correlates with how much you drank the previous night.
Muchas Gracias is garbage food. We had one in the little town I grew up in, Myrtle Creek. As high-school, students my friends and I all thought it was great. Boy was I proven wrong when I moved out of that dump.
Theres a bunch of youtube videos like that. Chinese people eating panda express for the first time. Australians eating out cereal, beer, etc. The first time. They are pretty good.
Everything in Salem is bad. Going to Salem is like going back 20 years. It's a place to pass through on the way to Albany......
It is the most accurate post I've ever made here. You can see the cans through the drive through window, or you could 18 years ago.
Its not my favorite, i prefer my tacos out of taco trucks. But of the three muchas gracias locations i have been to, im telling you, hillsboro is pretty damn good. Some pretty good ones at cartlandia on 82nd. Don pedros and la mizteca in gresham arent bad. My wife lived in mexico for two years, we usually make ours at home. Oh shit. I forgot about hood river taqueria. That place is amazing.
For real. Albany sucks too, but it doesnt suck as bad as salem. What makes salem suck even more, is that some of the people that love there actually think people should be jealous of them living in salem. To be fair, some of keizer and west salem is so so.
Shit, if that's what you guys have to say about Salem, I wonder what you think of Klamabama. We have uh, David's Brawny Burger I guess? Oh, and Asian Buffet and Sergio's are okay, probably not up to your big city type tastes though.
I think if we are 100% honest with ourselves, outside of the coast and beautiful central Oregon... Our state is very subpar, due to the people and lack of shit to do.
Hey, as someone that has driven through Idaho and very northern California (Southern Oregon is pretty much the same), our shit parts beat those.
