break out the silver bullets and daggers, Garlic, crosses and holy water.

Hire an Indian medicine man to purge and cleanse the Owner's/GM boxes, and Monument Park.....

Hire a paranormal scientist, to calm the ghosts down, who are going to be riled up beyond belief....

otherwise the ghosts who rightfully reside there, may revolt with bolts from Zeus....

when I read this article, first words, no fkng way, any memory, or future talk of #13; should be more about the next rookie that will wear the un-retired #13, in yrs to come, without so much as a sign stating: "A-Roid was here"....

...just last week he lied his ass off when Michael Kay asked him about the possibility of replacing ARod on the roster...Hal claimed that it "had not been discussed".

...does he really expect us to believe that BS?...he could have simply said "No comment", ...but to say that the subject "had not been discussed", well, that's a flat out lie. The subject has probably been discussed within management for a couple of years now and on multiple occasions.

Politically correct move, can't give ARod a chance to back out of the deal. He can change the official story after next year, but at this point read between the lines.

...yeah, I get that, but again, "no comment" or "I'm not at liberty to say" would have sufficed and also would have been just as politically correct. And if Hal does come out and "change the official story", well, that only confirms that he was lying.

...as far as "the deal", not sure how ARod could "back out of the deal...."I'm pretty sure it was a one way deal and ARod didn't really have a choice or any other recourse,...gotta believe that it was more of a "ARod, you can leave with what little dignity you have left and accept this "advisory role" or we'll simply cut ties with you and you can draw your ill-gotten salary on South Beach".

Simply put, the Yanx are unfortunately obligated to PAY ARod, but they are under no obligation to PLAY ARod.

...and Hal is also talking about a possible future spot in Monument Park for ARod?...what kind of crack head shit is that?

Comment tells me they are still in stroke the ego mode and no comment would not have gone over well. For all we know the question was a planted gotcha from ARod camp.

...what difference would it have made?...like I said, ARod has no recourse anyway.

...if you're suggesting a notion that the Yanx might be somehow perceived to be purposely screwing over ARod, what is the motivation?...if they really wanted to do that, they could have done it before last year.

...And saying "no comment" or "I'm not at liberty to say" wouldn't go over good, but telling a flat out lie and suggesting there might be a place in Monument Park for ARod would go over good?...please.

No comment generally means no fucking way, and that wasn't the message he wanted to send, although likely the one that is closer to the truth.

Rather he was patronizing in the other direction. It's all moot, no room at monument park after Jeter gets in there.

    ...wait, no comment means "No"? ...that's news to me. Here's a simple web search;

    1. used in refusing to answer a question, especially in a sensitive situation.

...besides, Hal had already said "No", which is a lie, so why would he use a term that according to you means "no fucking way", which is an even bigger lie?...I think you mis-spoke.
