I think Cousins is a good player, and I would still like to have him on our team, but trading a lot to get him should not be an option. He is especially useless in the Olympics because they already have plenty of scorers. And although he is a very good passer, running the offense though a center rarely happens anymore.

    And his D?

If they can keep that kind of production going into next season..... I'll be happy.

Love how many techs us has been getting. We are represented by a bunch of whiney bitches and sadly, its an accurate representation of how whiney this country has become.

I think team USA should not be filled with all-stars. They just take turns playing one on one, and we are barely beating teams that don't even have any nba talent. Get some mid-level talent that might be more eager to prove themselves.

Draymond Green is so overrated. Had he gone somewhere else he wouldn't be an "all-star". The dude doesnt CREATE for others, nor does he score much offensively (12ppg). His percentages are okay because of the space he gets from the attention paid to Curry and Klay.

The Olympics are showing that right now. He's trash. I wouldn't be surprised if he fades into mediocrity next season.

And if one of Klay/Durant plays like this, then they're very beatable.

I think gutting the bench for Durant might have been their worst move they could have made. They were a well oiled TEAM machine. Now they will all need to make major adjustments, and sometimes that's very tough for stars.

Kerr is going to be severely tested trying to make his new roster work...Golden State doesn't really have offensive sets...they run iso ball off screens or drive and dish but they are a good defensive team or were, that have chuckers who make ridiculous shots..if the mojo slumps...they are in trouble. Durant shot 4 times in the game against Serbia...I can see that happening in GS...Curry likes the ball a lot

This US team has enough talent so that if you made an all-star team from all the other teams, it should still beat it. But it's looking more likely to lose a game than any US team in a decade.

...however, they may not simply because the other good teams are weaker than they have been. If the US was playing the peak Spain or Argentina teams of the past decade then I'd seriously bet against them. But this is a sort of in-between generation internationally. Ginobili, Parker, Gasol - all old.

De Colo's much-improved since he went back to Europe. Maybe it's the hair. (Remember, France left Evan Fournier off their squad by choice.)

I think it'll be a lot like the Heat(les). Everyone thought they'd trample roughshod over the league but it took them a season to gel.

Carmelo is so bad on defense. I know this is nothing new, but dang he's getting killed.
