I suppose I could just be blindly happy with everything the team does, both good and bad, like you?

So I've never Hurd of Hurd. I thought the Blazers said we would be familiar with who they hired. And. Why I've look at clips and agree he is a good fit/hire...who the hell is this Kent guy? Why get rid of Bjaranson? He must have pissed someone off cause he was doing a damn good job.

Lamar & Jordan will be great additions to the broadcast in my opinion.

The big change they need to make is to get rid of that guy Jeff Curtin. His bullshit camera angles and random ass replays that make us miss live action are the things that actually needed improvement. @HCP is well aware of our frustrations-- brought it forward to Curtin, and the guy did nothing. I've been tweeting him-- nothing. Time for change. When major national people like @haralabob talk shit about your local broadcast's antics, it's not a good look.

They didn't even interview Brent Barry?

Also, the idea of Wheels working solo is stupid in my mind. BG for a portion of the season sounds cool. Why not hire back Rice for radio? Wheels and the Wild One was a sick duo

Jordan Kent is the son of former Ducks basketball head coach Ernie Kent, and played both for the Ducks football and basketball teams. He's been been doing studio work for the past few years, and he's very good. If you come in open-minded, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

That's subjective. Hate to bash the Mikes who I adore but Barrett's homer act was going overboard, consistently taking time out on live broadcasts to help Stotts fight the refs. And the whole "see you on the plane" bit was getting tired. And Rice, love the guy to death but you were just waiting for him to drop an inappropriate bombshell every night, not a good look for an organization pushing their brand to a broader audience. Time will tell but I think the Blazers made a good change of direction.
