I have a bs in physics. Want to talk about quantum mechanics or special relativity?

    BS alright :)

You're that blind squirrel that found a nut at OSU.

In all honesty, I have no ill will towards the Beavs. I also don't like to trash talk....unless Mrs HCP asks me to, of course

Haven't beat a Big Ten team since 1978..... big surprise. Maybe Dee Andros has some descendant somewhere that is a future coaching genius.

And the Beavers answer with a fail of their own.

Still not a bad outing for the Beavers.

The right tackle should be expelled from that school never to return again. Wow what a piss poor job.
Coaches time management in the fourth was.....suspect.
Defense was average to below average.

Biggest issue though was the O-line.

I had the same thought about the O-line. Hold a block for another second, or even make the block, on numerous plays and the Beavers win easily.

Defense is definitely better. Not good, but better. Couldn't sustain it the whole game though. Couple of missed tackles at the end sealed the deal for the Gophers.

Beavers didn't embarrass. I was encouraged by their improvement.

The Beavs did look better, but my question is how deep are they? Injuries hurt most teams, but certainly some teams a little more.

Their QB looked pretty good, and Nall and Collins looked very good. But do they have any other skill players? Maybe Boldin, but his hands look suspect.

Nall is a fuckin' truck wow. Collins did look good and so did our QB honestly, which is refreshing.

Boldin played with Cooks, you'd think Cooks would impart some sticky-glove magic into him before leaving.

I can't root for a team led by Darrell Garretson. I can't help but think of his grandfather every time they say his name.

...you and that one other guy! Meanwhile, everyone else in Beaver Nation will be rooting for him.

Not deep at all. Or wide for that matter. (Meaning, they still need better players overall, let alone backups.)

Gotta agree with you on Garretson....and the O line. I can only imagine how good Garretson could be with a line that gave him some time and protection. He looks to have the best arm since Derek Anderson.....and a better FB IQ.....

Come on--you seriously don't remember Darrell Garretson as an NBA ref? And his son (and QB Darrell's uncle), current NBA ref Ronny Garretson? I'm really the only person who can't separate those?
