I've been around long enough to remember when HCP was a rook. So, I never take anything he says seriously - fucking noob!

He mentioned that game where he was dancing on the jumbotron. I as at that game, witnessed it live and remember it all too well. Unfortunately, there are some things you can never unsee:



Seriously, if he (or anyone else) ever posts anything that offends you, use the report function link at the bottom the post. It will let the people that manager this site that his shtick is rubbing people the wrong way and they will ask him to modify his behavior.

So let's get this straight.....Chriscraig,The Guy from Salem and Obrian are the ones who've I've offended. Just want to make sure.

What do they have in common I ask you? Haven't been around long, not quite sure that probably one of the things that happens around here MORE than actually talking basketball is to rib each other and have fun.

Good lord, if I"M offending them can you guys imagine what Mixum would have done or the FAMS guy? Where they would actually call you names and blast you for your opinions. I'm just saying I hooked up with your sister and you guys now are on this hurt feelings tip.

 

To clarify, I never said I was offended. I said I was annoyed. With the constant degradation this place loses its fun. Ribbing each other is one thing, especially when you know each other or have met in person. This is not ribbing. This is creating a division within the fandom and treating new people like crap. Ribbing happens between people that know each other. Not some old vet giving it to new members. Huge difference.
It gets tiring to read someone who posts to some as if they are in some clicky family and then call all others names that he KNOWS is meant to try to push buttons and then crys "What did I do????"
It gets compounded when you find out this type of behavior is being exhibited by someone who works for the Blazers...

The instigator always claims innocence and the one that strikes back is always the culprit.

Let's take this point by point......

-You say I'm "stunting the growth" of this site? So for 9 years I guess I've been holding this site down from growing. We would have to ask Denny about this. Because of me, Kevin Pritchard, Tom Penn, a plethora of assistant coaches, numerous Blazer employees and players have joined this site. And this was BEFORE it was even recognized by the team. That doesn't sound like like stunting shit my man. That sounds like mad marketing skills.

-You keep saying I'm a Blazer affiliate. No more than the kid who sells you popcorn or beer at the game. I'm not an employee, I have a contract for 6 months. I grew up going to games with my family. I'm a fan first like everybody here. Who do you work for? Doesn't matter does it.

-I totally remember how I rookie hazed you. Why would I have forgotten? You cried about it then and you still are. You sent me PMs about it, like you wanted us to go to counseling or something.

-The last thing I have is self esteem issues. One might say I'm a bit too high on myself actually. Feeling good about myself has NEVER been a problem. I think self confidence is a tool to use to succeed. I'm in a people person business. If you can't handle yourself in social situations, you'll fail. I never intend to.

Funny thing is, I had never been on the internet, let alone a forum until I found this place. I've learned interacting on here, you can't determine tone in a post. Sarcastic, serious or whatever. I've had some dudes over the years fire off a post aimed at me, that most would find offensive. I never let what any of you on here say affect me. 99% of you don't know me. I remember when I first came on here over on BFF some guys were dicks to me. I kinda took as a social challenge. I fired back and they liked it. Started showing me respect and never looked back. You do notice the guys who have been here have my back right? You do notice the MODS and the god damn owner of this site haven't said a thing to me right? You know why? Because like I said before, 1 or 2 of you come on here and gripe about me every few years, then they realize to man up, fire back at me and let's talk hoops. There isn't ONE person on here who has met me and said that I wasn't cool. Not one bro. Because I have mad people skills and can get along with everybody. I'm keeping rooks in place on here as a joke. I don't take this forum world serious, never have never will.

You three need to lighten up or block me. Obviously I'm not bringing anything to the table and am bringing down the site, so what will you miss by not following me on here.

 

I honestly don't remember you ever telling me this. I work for Denny anyway, so a request would have to come from him, sorry.

 

It was pretty well typed right? The problems with long posts like this is I worry about the spelling errors.

 

So now you have to have met in person to crack on them? Once again, I didn't realize I was creating a "DIVISION WITHIN THE FANDOM" . You'd think Freeman or somebody would have tweeted something about this.

 

I honestly don't know why I'm replying to you. I'll let it go bro. I'm sure Denny and Sly don't want the 3 of you leaving this place, but I think we'd survive. Just as it would if somebody of my MVP level were to leave. Obviously it would take longer to recoup the quality amount of content I bring the joint, but you understand.

I say man up.....talk Blazers and put me on the Ignore List. It would be your loss, but if it makes you feel better, maybe you guys should.

Since it seems you want to speak on the up and up about this, I will bite and break down your post....

That's great, but you brought them here by having ties to the Blazers. Hoe many random fans have you brought in here? How many have never signed up because they read how you are to rooks? Denny will never know this, but I personally know of two people I tried to bring to this forum who declined. You have noted that people have come and gone from this site and you've had people say you offended them in the past, so even you admit you have pushed people away. So yes, I truly believe there are some Blazers fans who decline this place because of you.

Come on man, you post pics of you with the players on the plane and behind the scenes. You have ins here nobody else has and are all envious of because we are all fans, so maybe affiliate is the wrong choice of words. The fact is you are WITH the Blazers and constantly post things to show it. So you can argue semantics if you like, the fact is you are on the inside.

Yep. And I did so at the advice of the mods here. I also thought it would be a good thing to do so try to help understand. I was told your a great person in person but like to be an ass online, so I wrote and apologized to you to try to smooth things over. you ignored it and continued to post in a jack ass manner to me. I said whatever and moved on, but you come in here in waves and some of the waves are simply a flood and it gets over the top and annoying.

Ummm This is a lie or someone lied to me because I have been specifically told the mods have asked you in the past to chill out.
So either some others here are telling false things or you are in denial. Its more than 2 of us right at the moment. i'm sure there have been many more, but they aren't members to back my side up ( Which I don't really care or feel the need to have done because I am resolute and firm in my opinion that you run people off). Yes, people who have met you have told me your a great guy in person, so they have your back, but even some of these people have mentioned in this thread that you aren't the same on here and should chill.

You post too much and too many people respond to them to make this a viable option. Many conversations wouldn't make sense. Since you have admitted that you cant man up and apologize and you wont change your ways and you flood threads at times, the only alternative is for people to move on. And this is how you stunt the growth of this site.
Based on what you have said, I don't expect you to get this or even WANT to get this. Some people are in love with themselves. Vanity is a bad bad thing man. I try to check mine because i'm pretty confident in myself too and I know how it can rub others the wrong way, but at least i'm self observant enough to see that and respect other humans enough to try to keep it in check.
