It looks it; he's looked really collected and efficient out there.

Let's face it, joe Johnson doesn't and won't have many games like that these days. Good is a great player but also won't have the ball in his hands that much. Golden boy Hayward will be getting touches

Lillard had superstar stats. What a game he played.

that was without our TWO best players, Favors is pretty close to him. 100 year old Joe Johnson is going to be coming off the bench lol

Crabbe and Vonleh are going to make up for your little Evan Turner debacle i think ...

Awesome game, enjoy your season !

Once Ezeli is healthy, Meyers won't see the floor again until one of our bigs gets hurt. Not if Vonleh keeps playing well.

A healthy chunk of that was scored in Gobert's face by a couple of 6'3" guards.

    Take-a-ways:

Dame is the best. Efficiency was on point, only took maybe 2 bad shots the entire game. Is there anything he can do to surprise us anymore?

Vonleh - holy shit. He showed a little bit of everything. Very exciting, albeit one game.

    Beibs - Ew.

Harkless was invisible. And I'm one of his biggest supporters. 1 rebound in 20 minutes?

    Aminu looked good.

And Crabbe... Hot damn he showed the improvement in his game. Now to watch the counter-attacks on his new improvements...

Damian Lillard is first player with at least 39 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists in a season opener since Michael Jordan (11/3/89 vs. CLE).

Agreed on everything except Aminu - he looks exactly the same as last season. A couple of good plays, but overall adds very little to the team. He didn't add anything to his game over the summer, and still has a penchant for making stupid mistakes at inopportune times. Watching him dribble is maddening. I really hope we make the switch to starting Vonleh sooner rather than later, as I think Aminu might fare better against bench players.

Glad Terry finally figured out to switch Dame twice so he wouldn't end up on Johnson. That third quarter was painful to watch. Defense needs serious work.

we laugh but if Dame said in an interview "I'm going to be as good as Michael Jordan this season" I'd fucking believe him.

Whoa hold up. Aminu is huge for us. He's a great role player.
