I've made no bones as to my opinion that neither Clinton or Trump is worthy of being president. Sadly, one of them will win the election in spite of their failings. I have little doubt that the vice presidential candidates would make a superior choice over the top halves of their tickets so my current thought is to root for the one who will be easier to impeach. Both have ongoing legal issues that could lead to impeachment. If the Republicans hold onto the Senate as well as the House, they would have the means to impeach Hillary, while it seems unlikely that the Dems can win both houses. Based on that, I'm now rooting for Hillary to win.

actually, if the Republicans hold onto the Senate and the House, they won't have the means to impeach her as they need at least 67 votes from the senate, to impeach her (and you know, an actual reason to). And besides the fact they won't have anything near 67 in the senate, the chances of democrats actually going along with the impeachment is pretty much non existent.

Same with if the situation was reversed.

So, it would be a waste of time. And plus, how did the last time they impeached a Clinton work out for them?

Hillary will be impeached if elected, or step down in a plea deal. Unavoidable at this point. So much evidence of blatant criminality just spewing forth each day on Wikileaks, through lawsuits, and from FBI investigations.

FBI will be presenting the biggest RICO case in US history against the Clinton Foundation sometime next year, if not sooner. Members of the DOJ may be included as defendants. Obama is already getting soiled by association.

Ah crap, Julius, you're no fun. I hold out hope that the FBI will provide sufficient demonstration of corruption between the emails and the Clinton Foundation that at least some Democrats will be swayed to ditch her.

You should look into what it takes to impeach a president, because I kind of get the impression you think it just takes saying it three times in a mirror.

Impeachment is easy enough. Conviction in the senate would be purely partisan.

Though nevertrump types might be happy to see Pence get the job.

In the face of an FBI case, I think the Dems might abandon the old USS Clinton like rats scurrying off a sinking ship. There's no reason to support her since she has zero chance of reelection due to age and cumulative crappola. Getting Kaine in office might open up possibilities in 2020.

Trump is not about to put his empire in a blind trust. Letting his kids run things ain't a blind trust.

Not sure, but if being kicked out of office (conviction in senate) is the goal, I think it's going to need to be something big enough to bring ones own party members on board. The question is, which one of them will do something outlandish enough to bring the ire of their supporters? Most likely, I think that's Trump.

I think that's probably right. Hillary actually has friends and supporters in congress; Trump mostly doesn't. So the republican 'establishment' turning on Trump isn't hard to imagine at all.

What is hard to imagine is Trump actually getting elected. But maybe they could impeach him anyway, just for giggles.

There is a God after all. Hallelujah.

The sooner this bitch is out of politics, the better this country will be. Her Disciples also don't think she'll get us into a war overseas, which is utter bullshit; seeing as how she wants a NFZ in Syria. Oh yeah....the Russians are gonna love that.

And oh yeah...we need to give Iran another reason to hate our guts while we're at it. A foreign woman, leader of "The Great Satan", throwing her weight around in a Muslim country should do the trick.

As for Impeachment, it's like Julius said: it's pointless. The only way I see it happening is if the evidence is just simply too overwhelming and damning. But it has GOT to be too big to ignore.

If what I am reading on 4chan in regards to what Anon and Wikileaks have found recently is true, there could be some very damaging shit coming out

100GB of email data, 16MB in p#rnographic evidence (including m1n0rs) and 3GB of video.

I'm not touching that with a 10 foot pole, but it's being uploaded to Wikileaks.

The 650,000 emails found on Huma Abedin's laptop are already grounds for impeachment.

Exactly what would Trump be impeached for?

based on what? Nothing earth shattering has come out of it (involving her, from, to or about), and there is no indication the emails involve anything important to do with her.

If AW has child porn on it, that's on him, not Clinton.

I'm pretty sure Weiner didn't have security clearance.

Even if Barfo thinks he should have it.

It also shows the scale of the abuse of the abuse - we've been led to believe it was 1/10th as many emails and half of those were illegally disposed of.

And... you think Clinton asked/ordered Huma to give Weiner classified material?

I think you'd need actual evidence for that one.

Has something come out to suggest he was given anything that needed security clearance?

    Where does the buck stop?

The whole lot of her surrogates are crooks and were in on the illegal distribution of classified materials.

    And you question Trump's hires.

    hahahahahahaha
