SlyPokerDog needs to retreat to his safe space , or leave the forum if he can't handle off-topic discussions on a forum board during an election cycle.

That reply was insincere and disingenuous. I request that you completely reword the sarcastic insult against me.

That's more like it. Every time Blue ever uses the word "you" it should be replaced by Sly's name. While this threatens to make Sly the center of the universe, that is an accomplished fact so there is nothing to lose. From now on, we must all type Sly's name instead of the pronoun "you."

Nice touch. I just noticed that "he" was "you" the first time I looked at it. Another very touchy pronoun that starts flame wars. He. I request that all "he"s in Blue's posts be changed from now on to Sly's name.

I do not favor replacing the pronoun "we" with "was." Unless it's the common refrain after a game, "We was robbed." That would add class. "Can we was robbed pause this fun until I've had my morning coffee and taken my morning shit?"

I have just submitted my sincere request to Denny that Sly be fired. Here it is.

    http://www.sportstwo.com/posts/4000833/

Now that accusing posters of being insincere allows a moderator to stick his own name in for all pronouns, I want a piece of the action. I want my name to become the center of the universe, not Sly's.

I just found another one! In my response to a complaint that I had insulted someone who says I insulted him for assuming he's not dumb enough to not know the South has always legislated racism (Blue says it wouldn't have been an insult if I'd assumed he's dumb enough not to know that), Sly edited my response in which I explained that I had chosen the more flattering option, the option assuming that Blue is too smart to not have known.

So when I flattered Blue and told him my guess was that he's too smart not to know the obvious, Sly jumped at the opportunity to insert his own name where I had typed "you are." This megalomaniac Sly is out of control. Is he running for office? Why does he replace all pronouns with his own name? We can all agree, whether Democrats or Republicans, that he is power-hungry and must be brought under control.

I just notice a mistake that egomaniac made. He changed 2, but not 1. This shows that Sly doesn't think straight, which makes him even more dangerous. As my grandmother's generation used to say, power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely, and applied inconsistently, it sucks even more.

I'm not the moderator this forum deserves, but the one it needs.

1 didn't read it as a personal insult so there was no reason to change it.
