I agree with the Mavs because Dirk actually was clearly the leader of the Mav's for years now.
Melo though was never really the leader in Denver when they were successful. I'd argue that Billups was the leader and Melo was a cancer who was no better than JR Smith in terms of helping them win.

It is kind of sad that it takes basically his best game to slightly outweigh his fuck ups though... Outside of the turnovers, we have multiple other possessions where he dribbles away the clock and ends up getting the ball to someone like Plumlee on the perimeter where he can't do anything and we force up a shitty shot at the shot clock buzzer.

Did you watch the game? We were playing great. Then he comes in and we blow the whole lead and spot them one. But I'm done fighting with you. Go Blazers!

Damian Lillard is the first NBA player to score 27+ points in each of his team's first six games since Shaquille O'Neal in 1994 (ORL).

    4 players have scored 27+ points in first 6 games in the past 30 years - Jordan (1986/1988), Malone (1992), O'Neal (1994), Lillard (2016).

He isn't a point guard. He can handle the ball and make plays but he's not a point guard. It's not his fault that stotts is running the second unit with two guys that aren't point guards.

Have we scored since Turner came in? Nope. 7-0 run by Dallas.

I think Dallas knows this, but they're just being loyal to Dirk. I think the Knicks are delusional.

Crap. No Blazers have scored since Dame's hot streak. It's been bricks and turnovers since

I don't think billups was on those teams. They had Andre miller and they had iverson. Billups didn't come in until later. He was also on the team with van exel a million years ago.

Label him whatever position you want, he's supposedly a creator. All he's created are turnovers and stalls the offense thus far.

Meyers Leonard really does think he's a shooting guard.

Which is why our second unit should be Napier/cj/Crabb/Vonleh or Meyers/Davis

No place for Turner. Esp with Layman chomping at the bit.

The Blazers might be winning but we're lucky the Mavs aren't hitting there shots.

Fucking Oompa Loompa kills us every time. And you can't guard him because the refs protect him like he's an All Star.
