He may not change the Federal stance, but he won't mess with states' rights. My hope is Obama takes a stance before leaving office. You know homeboy likes that shit!

I agree. I think he will leave that in the hands of the states. I don't think anyone has anything to worry about. I do think that is why Colorado voted against him though. Surprising that weed carries more weight to the voter than the 2nd amendment.

If there are any lessons to be learned from this, for those of you depressed and down, know now that the media is full of shit, can be bought, has its own motives and can not be trusted.

Oh baby, I purposely didn't want to jinx this movement by the people by giving a big fuck you to media, government corruption, and celebs telling people how to vote, so I refrained from posting until this morning.

    But HOLY DAMN, fuck ya!

It's beautiful, isn't it? I'm still in a state of shock myself.

Like you said: no more elitist Leftists and Celebrities telling me how to vote, and no more elitist, corrupt politicians telling me how to vote based on my sexual orientation and race.

This should also firmly silence all of the bullies and bigots on the Left. And put them in their place; in the dumpster of America where they belong.

Fucking amazing. I absolutely cannot wait to see what Trump does next, and I'm really looking forward to seeing the Supreme Court become firmly Conservative. At the very least, it should put off any Gun Control nonsense.

Oh wait....never mind....that won't happen because Republicans control the House and Senate too!

    Glory Hallelujah! Praise Freedom!

He's not my president. You made your bed now lay in it. When he destroys this country, it's on those of you who voted for him, your fault.

    Maybe Elizabeth Warren?

Honestly, my sincere hope is that a new party emerges from the wreckage of the Democratic party and disaffected "Never Trump" Republicans that fuses socially liberal values (not "progressive" per se, which I see as damaging to free expression) and fiscal sensibility -- More states' rights, less power focused in the executive branch, less PC censorship, less religion in our laws. Basically little "l" libertarianism, without the naked whack jobs showing up to a convention, and the idiocy of big "L" libertarianism that is sometimes indistinguishable from anarchy.

    Pipe dreams are fun.

Not my fault. You can thank all the Californians who've invaded Las Vegas for that.

I'm going to start by saying that I didn't vote for trump. I threw my vote away by voting third party.

With that said, the overreaction is fucking real. For the last eight years we listened to people scream about Obama being a Muslim and how he was going to come for our guns. It helped sell millions of guns, but it never happened. Nothing is going to happen with trump either.

The dude is a clown. He's an attention whore. He said a bunch of shit to rile people up and he won. Nothing is going to change. If anything, he's going to get into office and not take it seriously. I could see him step down in a year or two because he's bored.

The republicans in office hate him as much as the democrats. If he tries some crazy shit, it won't pass.

What people need to take from this is that people are fed up with our corrupt system. They're tired of the same establishment politicians. If you want someone to blame, blame the DNC for shoving Hillary down our throats. It was a horrible choice. They disenfranchised a lot of people with how they ran the primary. She wasn't someone that could rally the country. It doesn't have anything to do with being a woman either. She just isn't likeable.
