Polls in the U.S. would have gotten the same answers before the current government campaign to liberalize gayness started with the Phil Donahue show. Every criticism you make of the Muslim world was true in the Christian world not long ago. Apparently you're trying to justify American war in the Middle East, killing another million Muslims after we just did so in Iraq.
As a lapsed/recovering Catholic I tend to lean heavily in this direction....but then, I'll probably go to hell for agreeing with you.....in truth, I believe religion is indeed the opiate of the masses. I think a better use of my time is to focus on my own spirituality.....

Great article...made me remember being a young student when JFK ran for president and the uproar from the Protestants about a Catholic in office...it was like the Orange and Green in Ireland here....the small Midwestern town I went to school in was divided by a railroad track...the Protestants controlled business and politics...owned everything and lived mostly west of the tracks....the Catholics were renting and laborers for the Protestants pretty much and on the east side of the tracks...hence the old sayin' being from the wrong side of the tracks....I had family on both sides but my parents were atheists....I joined the Church because of the music and girls in pretty dresses......yep, that was my motivation....as UCD said....later on I dumped it for my own spiritual journey with the occasional lapses into pagan debouchery
False equivalency. Christians are not actively applying the death penalty to homosexuals, and only a miniscule fringe would actually support that. But if there were a nation of white people that had a cult that taught and practiced the exact same things as Islam, libtards would not have a problem with blocking immigration from that country.
Well, playing a tit for tat game between Muslims and Christians is not relevant. Though I'd argue that you'd need to go back to the Middle Ages to find Christianity on par with Modern Islam. But it doesn't change the current reality of what Islam is and how it does not mesh with our society. Liberals feel compelled to play this game for some reason. But if a dangerous cult moved into your community, would you be like, "oh well, there's another dangerous cult that did the same thing years ago, so let's forget it" No logic to that what so ever.

This country should be like a gym should be. Get enough people to join so everyone is happy and has access to all the equipment then stop taking new members.
