When do they come back? We'll be so much better defensively and rebounding-wise when they're on the court.
Since you think we'll win 64 games and said we'd win that Bulls game even in the 4th, I'm not sure whether to trust you on knowing the answers.
Ezeli is going for a second opinion on one of his knees; I don't think you can count on ever seeing him playing in a Blazers uniform.
Ezeli and his 7'6" wingspan and toughness is a huge loss. I guess we didn't have too many centers after all.
If he never sees the court this season, wow...we all thought that signing was awesome, but it will turn into pure stupidity. We had to foresee all these issues, and with that foresight, even his friendly contract can't be justified.
Just can't help yourself, sometimes And... you should have said... "But, but Fabio" Step up your game!
at 7 mil for ONE yr with a team option it was IMO worth the gamble. Signing Meyers/Turner/Crabbe IMO for what they got was where the utter stupidity is. Turner and Crabbe are close to a 150 mil dollar commitment, and Meyers IMO looks worthless at any price and especially at 40 mil.
I agree the other signings are more stupid, at this point anyway, but my feelings could change if they get their act together.
If they're the answer, the question mus be: "Who are two guys that are injured?" You realize that Ezeli missed 154 games in the three seasons before we signed him and only averaged 13.2 MPG in the 92 games he did play. Even if he does play this year, it won't be major minutes. And, just because Aminu is leading the team in rebounding, doesn't mean he's good at it. That's more of an indictment of our other bigs than a positive for Aminu. His TRB% of 13.6 is significantly below average for a staring PF. Ed Davis (after the last two games) and Noah Vonleh both have higher TRB% than Aminu. At this point, Aminu is a stretch 4 that can't shoot. Not sure how that helps us right this ship. I'd rather just start Vonleh and play him 30MPG than start Aminu when he comes back. BNM
Ezeli will never play a game for the Blazers mark my words the dude is done. Hes already delayed his debut couple times and as of yesterday word is hes getting 2nd opinions on his knee Looks like he's getting word his knees are really done this time.
It's all about matchups. Lot of different types of forwards in the NBA and I think Aminu would have helped against Chicago since the player who killed us most was Butler. Before that it was Gallinari, and before that it was Gay. He could have helped with all of them. Not every match up is a good one for Aminu, but those were.
I don't know, everytime Ezeli is mentioned in Bill Simmons' podcast they talk about him like he's done and his career is over.
I heard that last night too before the game or something. I was bummed.. :\ he had a "setback" and we all know what that means.
