    Has he been picked yet?

    and....

"But White House officials declined to say Thursday whether Flynn — an “executive” member of the Trump transition team and his chief foreign policy adviser during the campaign — was among those so designated. Flynn was not in attendance on Tuesday when Trump received his first PDB briefing at Trump Tower, according to a source familiar with the matter. Trump transition officials did not respond to requests for comment."

    and...

“if I return to government service, my relationship with my company will be severed, in accordance with the policy announced by President-elect Trump.”

But critics today dismissed Flynn’s pledge as “Too little, too late,” given that he began sitting in on U.S. intelligence briefings for Trump in August while working for foreign clients. Classified national security briefings are by tradition provided to the major presidential candidates and their top aides.

So really the onus is on the Government and their background checking process for Flynn. They would have know his background info when getting him qualified to handle classified information. They obviously did not care.

"He predicted that if Flynn is named as Trump’s national security adviser, “there will be wholesale resignations of national security professionals, and I believe some have already drafted their resignation letters.”

    Hearsay.... no proof.

    Verdict:
If the Government allows him to see the information then they have vetted his background and I do not give a shit what the guy was doing because (we) will never know the full extent, or more than the Government does when doing the vetting process for the classified and top secret info screening.

He's got the credentials for the job.

They don't give briefings to those without clearance.

Nah I am not defensive. I am just sick of the leftish media putting out these hit pieces without the proper information.

    the facts are...
    1. The dude hasn't been official picked yet.
    2. If the Government shared classified information with the guy then they did their job investigating him and found no issues.

What's your definition of "leftish media?" Genuinely curious.

Generally the sites that did not do equal coverage during the Presidential run. There are plenty of graphs around detailing how much time each new site was spent on Trump's "negatives" vs Clinton's "negatives".

At any-rate the Yahoo article is leaving a lot to be desired. There are a lot of assumptions made and a lot of leading being done, you can tell the content is written in a way to "rile" up the left.

I like the pick. Like Blue said: they obviously feel some level of comfort for having him handle Classified Intel. Which also means that they've already investigated him for the position, I'm sure, on numerous occasions.

    I like the pick.

MSNBC has always been outwardly biased to progressives but the other networks like ABC, CNN, NBC tried to act like they were in the middle.

With the wikileaks releases that had collusion by ABC, NBC and CNN, that gives evidence that those networks are equally liberal.

WAPO, NY Times and huffington post seriously got exposed this election as well.

I won't think it's true until I actually hear the announcements. The liberal media are freaking the fuck out because they don't have their "foot in the door" with the Trump organization. Everything is purely speculation at this point.

So, uh, what role in the Trump administration are you angling for, Mags?

Seems like head of the FDA would be up your alley...

Another American job (Mags) replaced by automation. Or maybe Mags is a bot. Hard to say, really.

Another hilarious left contradiction. They screamed sexism and misogyny but have no problem using it when it suits their attacks on who they oppose.
