Minnesota has a logjam at Center, and are playing Dieng out of position at PF. He's a great defender, rebounder, and can shoot out to the 3pt line. There's a good chance Minnesota wants to hang onto him as they just resigned him, but he'd be perfect here, and I'd be willing to give them Crabbe and picks.

I agree with everything you say. I doubt they want to part with him.

Gorgui Dieng is a wonderful defensive player. I watched him play with Louisville and kept up somewhat with his career with the T'Wolves. He would help our porous interior D.

However, I think it's going to take more than Crabbe and sweetener.

    What would it take?

What about C.J. for Dieng and a right to swap 1sts this year? There's great players in the draf this year. Dunn/CJ/Wiggins/Towns would be a solid core.

Other than that.. Idk. Crabbe, Vonleh, and a 1st?

Not of there pick was likely to be top 5 and we acquired that pick unprotected (probably via swap). There's 5 star players in this draft that would fit well here, and If we got a top 5 pick + Dieng for CJ that'd be a win in my book.
