Chris thinks that, because the guy looks like he just came off of the set of "Glee", that I'm a homophobic because I think he's an asshole for burning the flag. Nevermind the fact that I said NOTHING about his supposed sexuality. THAT is what we have to deal with in this country; people like Chris who make dumbass assumptions who, at the end of the day, only make themselves look stupid by the hypocrisy of their own words.
In that context, then yes, I agree with the law. But I also believe that it can open up unintended consequences about what constitutes "legal flag burning".
Oh, no doubt that Hillary and her supporters are, like most of us, uhmm...flexible in dispensing indignation.
Thanks for clearing that up. For a minute there, I thought you were calling yourself a "Fucking moron" for being a bisexual male. I'd say that makes you "fucking ambidextrous".
Every flag in America is property owned by someone. If it's yours, you can pee and shit on it and roll it up and eat it for all I care. If it's mine I will see you arrested for violating MY Free Speech protections, theft and vandalism. Then I will sue you in civil court for damages.
whats next? will i get arrested if i make a trump voodoo doll and poke it in the dick repeatedly? fascism rearing its head here.
Trump's just buttering up the patriots so that when he builds Trump hotels in the middle of various national parks they continue to defend him. barfo
Flag burning should be protected speech. Same with using the "N-word" (or any racial slur or any slur of your choosing), burning the Koran or drawing Swastikas. But they aren't.
And you are legally protected to engage in all the hate speech you want. So have at it. Tell us what you really think.
besides, i'm a minority, I can pretty much do whatever and white people can't do shit about it, son! :MARIS61:
Naw, Scalia was probably correct, free speech, so no legal penalty. But... if some vet knocks the piss out of the dip shit, that might be the well earned price.
