Jokic absolutely does not work well as a power forward.

    Bump!

This thread made it to the 3rd page because the Blazers are on a winning streak now?

Keep an eye on Denver. They've been reeling as of late. And their roster is even more flawed than ours.

They also have a guy in Nurkic who would fit seamlessly with ours

Question is what would they want? They look set at SG so probably not Crabbe. Maybe Vonleh? Could develop him like they did with Barton. Works money wise. Vonleh and a protected first for Nurkic? I don't see how Vonleh will get the proper playing time to ever develop in Portland, so might as well use him to fill a need, and Nurkic is only 22 plus under long term control.

I would even sacrifice another first if that's what Denver wanted. Our first, clevelands first and Vonleh. Nurkic is worth it. That's our starting center for the next eight years or whatever, and we won't have to pay him for another three.

Yesss. I also love how he plays with an edge. We need a guy that's not afraid to talk that shit on the floor. The guy just checks too many boxes for olshey to not aggressively pursue him, and I'm sure Denver would be down to deal with him again.

Nurkic would be an instant fan favorite, no doubt in my mind. Just wait till he tells deandre to go fuck himself.

so I am spending my lunch watching some video of him and I absolutely love this

also, looks like he has a nice quick trigger from mid range, can muscle it in, and pretty decent passer as well.

Yup, to me he's a Cousins lite, which is why I prefer Nurkic over anybody but Cousins. I may actually prefer Nurkic when you take the contract situations in account.

Not with the contract situation. Dieng is already tied up on a reasonable deal, while Noel would be up for a (presumably large) extension this summer and put us into luxury tax.

His numbers seem pretty pedestrian. Noel has much better upside I think.

    Lillard
    McCollum
    Harkless
    Aminu
    Nurkic

    Ohhh weeee.

I'd also love to have jameer Nelson. Gives us a legit backup pg so CJ never has to run the offense. Good shooter. Good in the clubhouse.

    Something like

Vonleh, Davis or Plumlee or Ezeli's contract, two first round picks, Napier for Nurkic, Nelson, and a second or something.
