I read a little bit of that Bill Gates thing last night and wondered if Rasta would link a tweet about it or a boycott of Microsoft.

Foxcom pledging they will try and manufacture Apple products in USA. Guess Trump was right again when he said we will start building apple products in USA.

Promises are lovely, but so far that's all they are. I'll be tired of winning when we see actual results. Right now it looks like stock market manipulation and little else.......how's that promise to put Clinton in jail working out for you?

Like promises of shovel ready jobs. Unlike that promise, Trump isn't spending $800B of taxpayer money to not produce the promised jobs.

Yes, they are just promises. Let's see if it comes to fruition. If it does, who loses?

No need to be butt hurt buddy. The issue with Clinton will decided by the new AG, not president. I like our chances.

You want results? Well, it's nice knowing our new awesome president elect just set up a tech summit with the biggest tech players all confirming they will be there. How you like them apples?

He's not acting butt hurt at all.

He's stating the obvious. Promises have to pan out to make Trump look effective.

But the promises do give some real hope for a change.

Butt hurt??? Hardly. Just noticing how many promises and pledges your boy has already walked back. How are YOU going to handle it if and when he doesn't follow through? Or if all the "little people" who bought his brand of bullshit find out they've been had and turn on him? Are you going to call them "butthurt" also. That's the easy way to go.....

The "butt hurt" comment was in reference to the Hillary being jailed part of his post.

DOW 20000 is good for pension funds, 401K, etc.

Fed decision to raise rates is good for people living on a fixed income.

Higher rates is bad for real estate and people paying interest on credit cards, mortgages, and other loans.

Higher rates is also bad for the Feds, who are paying hundreds of $billions in interest already (to the rich, who can afford to loan the money), and will be paying even more. Thanks Obama.

Sorry, the comment of being butt hurt was when you made a dig on Hillary being jailed.

As for the "promises..." He is keeping them by working hard to try and bring jobs in. Not keeping it would be him not working on bringing jobs in after elected.

The best thing about the people eye-balling Trump and scoffing on his promises is that they for some reason think that Hillary Clinton was going to do any better! This woman wanted to keep the status quo and continue her legacy of corrupt cronyism. I am not sure why anyone at this point would be complaining about Trump's actions so far. All he has done at this point is shown how much he wants to rebuild this Nation.

Edit: I am talking about people as in "MSM, twitter-verse, etc" nobody in particular here except maybe Rasta ;)

I supported Johnson all the way and made that very clear in this forum. I'd laugh my ass off if HRC went to prison (and would probably contribute to "hiring" a big mean bull dyke to be her new husband). My point is he made a point of promising to prosecute and/or jail Clinton. Now he's saying he wont do that. The one promise I had hoped he would follow through on (if malfeasance was actually proven) he couldn't run away from fast enough......so in that respect, I am indeed "butthurt".

There's two aspects to prosecuting Clinton to consider.

    1. It sets a precedent I don't think we want to set. The winner actively prosecuting the loser of elections.
    2. It is a way to reach out to Clinton's voters. All but the butt hurt ones, anyway. He wants to bring the people together, not create a partisan wedge between his voters and those who didn't vote for him.
