Concept is there though. Dennis Rodman. Problem is the rule changes have forced many of these types of players out. These players thrived on hand checking and bodying up. They would foul out in the first half on a regular basis in today's NBA. and that is the crux of the problem. Great teams still get favoritism. Star calls. Its even more drastic now that the rules have put the hammer down on contact.
Buck Williams, Bill Walton, Brian Grant, Maurice Lucas, Stacey Augman, Wes Matthews, etc, would roll their collective eyes at what is going on.
Some of these players are still playing and are very effective. There's Jay Crowder in Boston, Demare Carrol in Toronto. I would even mention Draymond Green but he is even better and definitely not attainable
Better idea..... Cancel all of our games for the next month, and take the loss for each one. During this time, send the team down to the D league. THE WHOLE FUCKING TEAM. Everyone, and make it clear they will stay there, unless they start putting some effort into earning their paychecks. This shit is just too painful to watch....
