The problem with Crabbe he has to agree with the deal he got this until next year so it is not that easy to trade Crabbe.
Crabbe was ready to go to the Nets. I don't think it'll be difficult to convince him to leave as long as he's starting elsewhere.
Man, Embiid is a beast. Watched their game vs BK today and they need a guard in the worst possible way. Still, the guy is a monster. 33 and 10 in less than 30 mins with ELITE rim protection. As a rookie. I hope for basketball sake, he stays healthy. He's soon gonna go from the process to the problem. Also... Okafor is trash. Imagine Embiid and Porzingis on the same squad. Holy shit.
Random source: Portland front runner to land Noel and it's why he didn't play today. http://dystnow.com/2016/12/18/nerlens-noels-time-philadelphia-ended/ Not sure how legit this is
I watched the game too and I agree, Okafor is bad and Embiid is gooood. Okafors ceiling is al Jefferson. Embiids is I don't even know, he can do everything.
would explain why he didn't play. I don't buy the other reasons. Noel might've handled his situation wrong, but I still feel bad for him. Upper management is straight up costing him money. It's unprofessional imo.
His twitter page said he is an "official NBA and NFL media member" and that he was featured on ESPN and CBS Sports.
It's doubtful Philly would sit him until January 15th when Crabbe became available so figure on other player(s) if they are in a hurry to make a deal. Take out Dame, CJ, (because) Crabbe/Turner (because of his contracts) and Harkless because that is fairly similar to Ben Simmons. My guess would be Biebs because he gives them a big back but can stretch the floor and let Okafor and Embiid do their thing while being fine with being a backup. It gives Portland a little cap relief while not being a bad contract for the 76'ers. However he has the same January 15 restriction. So is it Aminu? It wouldn't Davis I don't think and the rest of the Blazers have very little value. Sitting Noel waiting for Al-Farouq to get better?
For Festus would basically be a giveaway and that pick better be Lottery protected. I can't see them taking Turner back especially with that contract but maybe Coach Brown has a thing for him.
Do we know what Philly wants exactly in a trade for Noel? What positions do they want in return? What's their asking price in terms of draft picks?
He sounds quite sure of that and the source.....almost like it's a Philly 'hold onto your shorts' situation.
Question; does the league do business on weekends? Meaning would trades be made official on a Sunday?
