I could buy that it was an accident if he tried to catch his mouthpiece as it was flying out, as would be the normal reaction for most rational humans if a mouthpiece accidentally comes out. I may even give him some more leeway if he bothered to pick it back up after it was on the ground. The fact that he just walked off after he spit it out indicated to me that it was clearly intentional at that point.

Those that do these kinds of things and then claim it was an accident, don't quite understand what natural reaction/movement actually means.

Moves that are done by instinct aren't hard to see.

Someone on the coaching should have kept the mouthpiece, there was enough DNA on it that we could have cloned 3 or 4 Cousins.

So let me get this straight. The spineless piece of shit NBA refs rescinded the technical foul after the video clearly showed Cousins purposely and with malice aforethought spit his mouthpiece at the Blazers bench? NBA refs could not be more pathetic. It would be comical, if I didn't wish NBA basketball had some integrity.

That was not something the refs could video review.

So their mafia boss told them they needed Cousins to break 50, so they'd better leave him in?

On what basis did they rescind an obvious technical?

They shouldn't have to to review it. The call on the floor was a technical on Cousins. It was his second technical and he should have been ejected. Everyone is talking about whether or not spitting out his mouthpiece was intentional. It shouldn't matter. It happened during the act of taunting the opponents' bench. That alone is worthy of a technical.

And Cousins bitching about the refereeing being "ridiculous" just proves what a paranoid little pussy he is. He was the benefactor of the two most controversial calls of the night - the technical on Plumlee for dunking on him (which I agree with) and the rescinding of his second technical for no apparent reason. Yeah, the refs are so biased against you, they retrieved you from the locker room and let you finish the game after you'd been ejected. The funny things is, he knew the second technical was justified. He didn't argue (probably the ONLY call he didn't bitch about all night) and immediately sprinted to the locker room without hesitating or looking back. I think he was as shocked as anyone when they retrieved him from the locker room
