You're in luck. They're not wasting a year for a pick, they're just wasting a year for no good reason.

I'm down. But, despite how rotten this team is, our end-of-season schedule is just too easy for us to miss the POs. At some point these guys will start playing basketball, and at the end of the season they'll cruise into the 7th seed. Yes, I know we just lost to the worst team in the league.

There's a guy named Austin Wiley that just joined Auburn. 6-11 and 255. He is damn good, but he won't be available to draft until 2018 since he's in college early. We need to tank next season and target him.

We should tank every yeard for the next 12-15 years. that will get us a roster of 12-15 lotto picks. and still suck...

    Sure.

Lets tank for every potential player entering college for the rest of the franchise's future.
Got anyone for the 2019 draft we should tank for? ;)

Last night's game was arguably the "easiest" one left on the schedule, and we all saw how that played out.

So you're in favor of being a perpetual 8 seed. (best case scenario)

Well, I would rather be an 8 seed than what PHI has been the last 5 years.

Don't get me wrong, I'm HALF on your side, but you have never said anything OTHER than tanking, so I'm poking you a bit.
A lotto pick in this next draft would probably help us, but i am not into looking towards the long term future of this team and use future drafts to improve it. If we do that we better just blow it all up now and trade BOTH dame and CJ.
Otherwise looking into the 2018-19-20's draft classes are not serious answers on how to improve this current team.

In most years, the first pick in the draft is by consensus. So I don't think there's anything to say in this thread. Our choice will be obvious by draft day. Maybe it won't be, and it'll be Toot Once and Toot Twice again.

Love TJ Leaf's old school game. Great instincts and not a slouch athletically. I'd be happy with him at the end of the lottery and I'd take him over Markennen and Rabb.

And if Ike Anigbogou comes out, he has a great chance to be the best defensive center in this draft.

Another guy I'm liking is Frank Ntilkina. Love his fit with Dame and CJ as a guy that can be a playmaker and hit a 3 while defending the tougher perimeter matchup.
