You're only as good as your last season runner up coach of the year lets you be.....Stotts needs to make a statement now if he doesn't want to get fired..it starts with our rotation players. Dame is the guy who needs to lead the locker room and stop being everyone's best friend until things straighten out.
Because it's BEEN 5 years. Young team or not, we're currently on course to have our worst season since Stotts got here. He did a good job molding. He's done a shit job at taking that mold to the next level.
"The next level" might have been short-circuited by the loss of Aldridge, Batum, (a healthy) Matthews and Lopez. If all those players were still on the team, they may have reached the next level. Tearing the entire team down to the foundations does tend to reduce the level.
i think we need to recognise the strengths and weaknesses here. Stotts seems to be a momentum offensive focused coach. Does he need to get ditched due to this? ehhh probably not, does he need some pure defensive minded assistant that isnt fuckin hopeless? yes. I'd keep him, but add to the coaching team to fill out the skillz

It's pathetic. I saw so many problems with his play calling tonight. His plays are asinine and completely predictable. And nevermind the lack of timeouts. Fire this fucking clown.
