Oddly, I don't think that highly of Putin. That makes his repeated punking of Obama amusing. I think the Trump/Russia conspiracy theories are loony. What's evident to those without blinders on is that Trump simply prefers to deal with Russia instead of making enemies of them. That's actually quite statesman-like - more than Clinton and Obama.
ObamaCare passed by lying to us all and parliamentary trickery, reconciliation. What's good for the goose is good for the gander. Buh bye ObamaCare. Is there anything left to call a "legacy" other than the middle east in flames and a handful of ongoing wars? http://www.politico.com/story/2016/12/obama-to-huddle-with-hill-democrats-on-saving-obamacare-233062 Though most legislation generally needs 60 votes to advance in the Senate, Republicans can do away with significant portions of Obamacare with a simple majority by using a parliamentary move called “reconciliation,” which undercuts a filibuster.
By Trump's wives past and present and choice of names for his kids.....I'd say it's pretty obvious Donald has a thing for all things Slavic or Russian...not that that's bad but given the state of politics....it's no stretch to imagine him as a Manchurian candidate...we've all seen that movie or one like it...I've never seen an election or transition pre election like this...it's sure got some gaping holes in it from where I stand. The geopolitical landscape seems to be about to make a major shift
msnbc influencing Denny's posts! When has the media not been a propaganda machine? Journalists might claim to be non biased but they are more often than not political activists with agendas...they filter the chaos and spit it out just like candidates do..any journalist that tells you they're Spock from star trek is lying
You have to admit, the video was funny as hell. It wasn't until much later is career (maybe post retirement) that Cronkite was found out to be a left winger. That's when journalism was quality. It wasn't just him. We don't just have journalists with an agenda, we had journalists clearing their articles with the Clinton campaign and giving her debate questions ahead of time. MSNBC and (supposedly) Putin wouldn't be the only ones trying to influence the election. Look, Sweden tried to influence the election! https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...middle-east/?tid=a_inl&utm_term=.5f8d4d913630 What a Trump presidency would wreak on Europe and the Middle East Carl Bildt is a former prime minister of Sweden and a contributing columnist for The Post.
It's funny, if the entire situation were reversed you guys would be outraged that Russia helped Hillary get elected.
Princess Clinton. http://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/1/12/435829/- Dirty Clinton Campaign Tactics in NH
I google Dirty Clinton Tactics and I keep getting links to cigars and blue dresses.....eventually got to a Parliament Funk website
http://www.salon.com/2016/03/25/hil...s_that_clintons_campaign_dealt_obama_in_2008/ This “kitchen sink” is described in a 2008 New York Timespiece titled “Clinton Campaign Starts 5-Point Attack on Obama”: “After struggling for months to dent Senator Barack Obama’s candidacy, the campaign of Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton is now unleashing what one Clinton aide called a ‘kitchen sink’ fusillade against Mr. Obama, pursuing five lines of attack since Saturday in hopes of stopping his political momentum… ‘Enough,’ Ms. Williams’s statement began. ‘If Barack Obama’s campaign wants to suggest that a photo of him wearing traditional Somali clothing is divisive, they should be ashamed. Hillary Clinton has worn the traditional clothing of countries she has visited and had those photos published widely.'” As stated in the article regarding the photo of Obama in African attire, Clinton’s spokesperson believed Obama’s campaign “should be ashamed” of their criticism. Essentially, the Clinton campaign justified a blatant attempt at deceiving voters, knowing very well that myths regarding Obama’s religion or birthplace would translate into votes for Hillary Clinton.
http://www.mediaite.com/print/ny-times-fbi-found-no-evidence-of-trump-russia-connection/ The New York Times reported late Monday that an FBI investigation into potential ties between Republican presidential Donald Trump and Russian leadership found no evidence that such a relationship existed. “Law enforcement officials say that none of the investigations so far have found any conclusive or direct link between Mr. Trump and the Russian government,” reported The Times. The article confirms previous reports that the FBI was investigating Trump staffers, in particular former campaign manager Paul Manafort‘s previous work for a pro-Putin Ukrainian political party. But sources say that had nothing to do with potential Trump-Russian ties, and more to do with the allegation that Manafort failed to declare income from his foreign lobbying. The more serious allegation concerned communication between a Trump Organization server and two servers for the Russian bank Alfa. Reporters at The Times had been poring over computer logs showing the Russian servers sent more than 2,700 messages to the Trump server, but the FBI ruled that there was “an innocuous explanation, like a marketing email or spam, for the computer contacts.” But most of the FBI’s investigation was into the hack of Democratic emails and their slow release by the Russian government. There, they found that Russian motives had little to do with Trump. “Even the hacking into Democratic emails, F.B.I. and intelligence officials now believe, was aimed at disrupting the presidential election rather than electing Mr. Trump,” The Times reports.
http://mobile.nytimes.com/2016/11/01/us/politics/fbi-russia-election-donald-trump.html?_r=2 WASHINGTON — For much of the summer, the F.B.I. pursued a widening investigation into a Russian role in the American presidential campaign. Agents scrutinized advisers close to Donald J. Trump, looked for financial connections with Russian financial figures, searched for those involved in hacking the computers of Democrats, and even chased a lead — which they ultimately came to doubt — about a possible secret channel of email communication from the Trump Organization to a Russian bank. Law enforcement officials say that none of the investigations so far have found any conclusive or direct link between Mr. Trump and the Russian government. And even the hacking into Democratic emails, F.B.I. and intelligence officials now believe, was aimed at disrupting the presidential election rather than electing Mr. Trump.
More Trump isn't bad because Hillary is worse posts. Apparently that means Stalin wasn't bad because Hitler was worse.
