    And I just have to say (why, I have no idea) in his defense, HCP gets more than his share of ribbing from the forum crowd about his wife and his heritage and takes it all in stride.

    I find the HCP wife and lawn mowing jokes much more potentially offensive than his so-called rookie hazing.

    The guy can dish it out, but he's proven he can take it, too.

    The main issue is that HCP has opted into banter with other forum veterans and that's fine. HCP getting into insult wars with like-minded people that he's friendly with is no problem.

    However, he often attacks newer posters who haven't opted into anything, don't know anything about him and aren't friends with him. In that context, the attacks are generally inappropriate, in my opinion.
