#paidthecosttobetheboss For real. When I'm not sleeping, I am pretty much always available to work. I am minute-to-minute, and make my own hours and schedule. As long as I get shit done, nothing else matters.
We will meet one day, Riverman! And then you will share your long kept concert stories from your "gig bag of life." Only then will I take a "first step into a larger world."
I have long appreciated the 'environmentally friendly' electric and hybrid cars. It's almost amusing how much some people don't realize how harmful they really are in production and that in disposal, it gets even worse. I'm all for energy alternatives but they still need apparently need to go back to the drawing board for the bigger picture to be an environmental net win.
Actually they already have...they decrease the amount of lithium by half every 5 years for the same power...project to be able to recharge all existing lithium storage with new technology by 2030....and cars are a tiny part of lithium use...computers and portable devices are the big market...any of us using a computer or cell phone is using the technology daily. Toyota is claiming they'll be able to recharge any storage unit moving forward..the world uses batteries for just about everything....oil companies and big rig drivers don't want this technology to be successful so there's a lot of false fear about hybrid production...I'm very, very happy with mine...also bought a solar panel in the local electric grid ....dropped my monthly bill by 30%...lot of folks are in denial about stuff.....I've embraced it and in my life, it's proven to be an asset across the board.
I read that the smartest man supposedly on the planet conducted a world wide think tank for environmental health and after deep research found the worst culprit was the misuse of color......black tar...tires...rooftops...roads...all intensify heat....black tires wear out faster than light blue colored tires for example...their conclusion is that color and clear cutting vast areas causes the majority of global warming. If you want to get rid of anything and protect the environment just drop it in a lava vent on the Big Island and it's vaporized...gone...history...volcanic lava can recycle anything we need to disappear...didn't find the article but this is the dude https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michio_Kaku
But, but a blue sky heats the planet and creates global warming, while a grey cloudy sky cools the planet. OK, I’m just messing with you. Good post.
I'm not the smartest dude around but I'd consider having Christo drape the poles and let them freeze over again!
Dude... you posted during the 1st quarter and halftime of games you were working... I'll let the Blazers know you consider them off days.
I work as a land surveyor for oil and gas development *GASP* in rural Wyoming. I'm almost afraid to admit that to my former fellow Portlandians... Usually check the forum either in the evenings, or from the front seat of a UTV in the middle of some godforsaken hillside miles from civilization (not braggin), if there's service. My line of work is slow this time of year however, so lately I've been able to screw around online pretty freely.
