    Deceitful.

How about deaths in 2008? In 2009?

He's not taken office nor done anything militarily yet.

    I reserve judgment until then.

So you're fine with 300+ deaths a year?

I'm not fine with 1 death a year in Iraq.

Again, the Iraq military is 2,000,000 strong.

Isis had between 20,000 - 30,000 in Iraq.

Isis is on Iraq, not us.

It's a man's job, they volunteer to go. Compared to the ~900 the year before, 300 is a significant drop. To 149, then 60 means we had the situation under control, peace at hand.

2,000,000 or not, they failed miserably. We had to know better. No will to fight, we tucked tail and ran. Not for good reason, but for political gain.

ISIS took cities with only a few thousand men. Not because they were superior fighters, but because our surrender led to the immediate breakdown in the hard earned diplomatic victories we had made. The Sunni no longer had our support, the people then put up no resistance to ISIS (also Sunni). The alternative was to be brutalized by those 2M soldiers.

And you would make the deaths of 4,000+ soldiers meaningless, and our money spent down the drain. You're fine with millions of displaced refugees, and countless civilian deaths. It would cost us nothing to prevent all that.

At some point you do have to invest good money after bad, or lose it all.

ISIS is on us. There was no ISIS because of the diplomatic victories already mentioned. The Sunni were our allies. We fucked them over good, thanks Obama.

    http://www.wsj.com/articles/obamas-last-jobs-report-1483745059

As President Obama ends his second term, his supporters are proclaiming that he will leave behind a “booming” economy. You wouldn’t know that from the December jobs report, the last full-month report of his Presidency, which was as lackluster as the overall Obama expansion.

    Bring it on!

Wanna bet the butt hurt goes up a few notches?

    http://thehill.com/homenews/administration/313140-what-trump-can-accomplish-on-day-one

What Trump can accomplish on day one

    • XL Pipeline (and more jobs)
    • Evict the violent criminals who are here from other countries
    • Cancel climate related payments to the UN
    • Undo Obama's energy regulations (new leases on coal mines, etc.)
    • Undo EPA rules requiring consideration of climate change when approving oil and gas projects
    • His new lobbying rules: nobody in his administration can register as a lobbyist for 5 years and may NEVER lobby for foreign governments
    • Withdraw from TPP
    • Renegotiate NAFTA
    • Buh bye ObamaCare

Both steps are within Trump’s power to take alone. Congress has not ratified the TPP, and the text of NAFTA says any party can withdraw six months after providing written notice.

    You make it so easy.

Renegotiate and withdraw don't have the same meaning.

6 months notice gets them to the table immediately. They're going to renegotiate right away.

Did I say you make it too easy?

Really, they are going to renegotiate on day 1? Because that was your claim.

So on day 1, Trump signs the paperwork that says 'six months and we are out'. Canada and Mexico both call him up that same day and say 'let's make a new deal, I'm on the jet flying to DC right now, how is 4pm for you?"

    Sure they will.

It is a process called renegotiation.

Even your semantics is broken logic.

Hmm, no. Not something he can 'accomplish' on day 1.
