I don't think so, not yet at least, but his play of late makes it a legitimate question.

If only Neil could trade and sign people as good as he can draft.

They're both damned good. I don't see any reason to try to establish a pecking order. Dame has accomplished more so far, but CJ is certainly showing that he's on a similar talent level.

Similar talent level is a good way to put it. As much as people think CJ is a cookie cutter of Dame, they have different strengths. CJ is and probably always will be a better and more efficient shooter. They way he finds space in the mid range is amazing to watch. Dame is a better finisher and ups his efficiency just by getting to the line more. Dame will most likely always be a better distributer and play maker as well. I still think the two can work together on a special team. It just might take time to figure out the right personel to pair up with them.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
I don't think McCollum is a better shooter. I think if he took the same shots Lillard takes, his percentage wouldn't be as high. McCollum probably is a more efficient shooter, though, because he limits himself to the good opportunities.

That, in itself, is not a criticism of Lillard. Extremely tough shot-making is important, because you can't always spring someone loose for a clean look. The question, to me, is whether Lillard is properly balancing the amount of really tough chances he takes against moving the ball and trying to get something easier.

People saying they can't coexist defensively are ignoring our defense in the 2nd half of last season.

Or the defense we just watched last night. That passed the eye test and the statistical test. It can be done. I think it really helps having Aminu and Harkless out there together. Their length and hustle really compliment each other.

I think we should have this thread three times per week, as the current rate is not high enough.

Come on. What's $5 going to get you these days? A quick jiggle near you and she's on her way to the next $5.

Edit: I read stripper and went with it while disregarding the post was about Sly.

That's a lot of bottom feeders. That might get you one hour at Porky's with two of his piglets up in the pen. :devilwink:
