Well the way I see it. Mr. Trump will be speaking for you and me for a few years to come. He won't be sitting in my living room with me or the ladies in my family. I voted for him and expect he will serve us all very well. I hope you see it soon and feel comfortable like I do. I have no fear.
It's not the presidents job to sit in your living room and make you feel comfortable. I didn't vote but I also don't think the world is at it's end because Trump is elected. Some people truly believe that. It's ridiculous. The over dramatic views of the guy is what drives me crazy
Pay no attention to the scorned Republicans who post on this forum. They're jaded. Obama has had a great run as President and will probably go down as one of the greats. Despite having the cards stacked against him with the house majority going to the right and guys like Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan trying to block his every move. The fact that they're trying to repeal Obamacare, aka the Affordable Care Act is a leading example of Republican's trying to change a great thing because it wasn't their idea, oh and it straight up has Obama's name wrapped around it. They have no ideas of what to replace it with. Talk to low educated Republican's like I have and they say Obamacare is an "absolute disaster". I question why and they say its because they shouldn't be forced to pay for medical insurance if they don't want to. Okay, you non-union warehouse worker with a 20 year tenure, tell me who's going to flip the bill when your unhealthy, cigarette smoking, fast food eating ass starts to gradually decline in health. You have a stroke right now and you'll gladly accept the benefits of Obamacare. This train of thought is what got us into this mess of a future President. These are real people I have interacted with on a daily basis with this line of thinking, not just one. Obama bombed and used drones a little too liberally for some peoples tastes. They're probably right. But those on the right also thought he would be soft on foreign affairs. Contrary to what many of these Republican blowhards in these threads want you to believe, and what Rush Limbaugh and Shawn Hannity tells them, Obama has been a solid job creator. The types of jobs Republican's want to create are the ones that are low paying in a day of age where that ain't gonna cut it to pay bills and raise a family. The middle class is what strengthens an economy. Country's with either rich or poor are disastrous. If we want to get back to that we need start manufacturing in America again and leaning on the backbone of the middle class: UNIONS. Trump is a President who doesn't care about the average American like his voters want to think. He's a rich guy, born with a silver spoon who cares about protecting the rich, corporations and looking out for his best interests when it comes to his businesses. Hell, a handful of years ago he was donating money to the Clinton campaign.
Honestly all this election cycle has proven to me, is that the average American is stupid and lacks common sense. I wasn't a Hillary fan either. I dislike Hillary a lot in fact. But she makes so much more sense than Trump. It hasn't hit them yet, it most certainly will, but the Trump voters are going to be kicked while they're down in a couple years if the shit he wants to get through passes. Whenever he lies, they act like he was joking when he made stupid statements like build a wall and Mexico's going to pay for it, oh and he's going to roundup all the muslims to evaluate whether they are terrorists or whatever, right and who's going to pay for that foolish idea. DERP
Tell your daughter she exists because slypokerdog grabbed her mom in the private parts. You dont like a guy cause of things he's said? Wow. And i thought you had thick skin. Obama hung out with famous musicians and shit. Just like regular people? Jesus dude.
And all this bullshit about the affordable care act. You can call it the greatest single act in all man kind history for all i give a shit. Shove your double think up your ass, it's unconstitutional. The government forces you to buy a product or they fine you. Thats as unconstitutional as it gets. Holy shit the fact this made it through the supreme court baffles my god damn mind. Liberals dont even realize the road theyve paved for future morons. What if trump wants everyone to buy from a company he owns? Just pass a bill! The affordable ivanka blow up doll act. Buy one or pay a yearly fine until you comply. Unconstitutional? Nope, we already proved it's not when we forced you to buy insurance and you didnt care.
He grew up a normal life like you and I. He wasn't given a million dollar loan from his father. He went to Harvard on his own merit.
So you're an elitist asshole who values the opinion of Cher and Lady GaGa over the struggles of those "racist homophobic" working class families in Nebraska or Arkansas? Obama called me a "bitter clinger" and buttered it up with Hillary's "Deplorable" comment. Trump called me an "American". I'd say he's doing alright so far. That it's okay to be white, that immigrants need to come here legally, that we need better border security, that we need to re-establish diplomacy with Moscow, that it's okay to have a gun for self-defense, that party politics is out of control in Washington, that Liberals need to grow a spine and fuck PC and safe spaces.... Yeah, I share a lot of those same beliefs. Of course I do. When he actually attacks someone, instead of this made-up fantasy of him being some uncontrollable rapist, then we'll address it appropriately. But I have a feeling that you're going to be waiting a long time for him to do that.
Who do you expect to pick up the bill for the people who get sick and refuse to buy into medical insurance?
That's funny...he sure doesn't act like it. Conan O'Brien went to Harvard too, and he's just as much of an elitist asshole. And that hurts, because he was actually my most favorite Late Night host for a long time, until this election cycle revealed him to be just as bad as every other Leftist in Hollywood. He actually said in an interview once: "I went to Harvard...I deserve the Tonight Show". I shit you not. Deserves it just because he went to Harvard. Talk about arrogance.
Why is there a bill? I get sick once or twice a year. I have medical insurance and i dont go to the doctor because i know ill still pay a fuck ton of money for some educated prick to confirm im sick. Rest, drink fluids, eat chicken noodle, and suck it the fuck up. Maybe if hospitals and prices up front they could just require payment before issuing treatment. But they keep prices secret so they can charge the fuck out of people with good insurance. It's still unconstitutional to force me to buy a product. The car insurance arguement is invalid. No one forces you to own a vehicle, you can opt out of driving and not get fined. You cant opt out of living and not get fined.
Trump's not an elistist asshole? Why because he knew he could coax gullible Republican's and converted parties a couple years ago? Before or after he was donating to Clinton's campaign. Of that I'm not sure.
Who the fuck goes to the hospital for a common cold? I spent 2 months in the hospital in 2010. 5 surgeries, 2 of them life saving and I was discharged from the hospital with a bill of almost $250k. I had dual coverage through my work and my parents (I was under 26 at the time). I paid $400 out of pockets. No joke. Kids under 26 are now being taken off their parents coverage with the new repeal that Senate just passed 51 to 48. If you want to look for someone in the medical industry to be the object of your scorn you should look at these big pharma companies that are upcharging outrages prices so these CEO's can line their pockets and your Republican's want to give them tax breaks.
No, because...contrary to popular belief, he's actually worked with many blue-collar types through Construction and Real-estate. Obama did not. In fact, I highly doubt he's ever even picked up a tool before in his life.
