They are inviting people who can't physically march to join them along the parade route and cheer. The march will start with a gathering in front of Civic Center Plaza, at 1200 Third Avenue. Marchers will then proceed on Broadway to Harbor Drive. The march will end in front of the County Administration Building, on the Harbor Drive side.
What part of I'm physically unable to do you not get? Sunlight, even on a rainy/cloudy day (which it will be), causes me a lot of grief. I minimize my time outdoors.
You didn't say what made you physically unable. I thought maybe you couldn't walk. I didn't know you had become a vampire. (Yes, I know lupus.)
Only makes the symptoms less worse. I can manage an hour or two, but I really feel it later in the day. I wouldn't wish this on anyone. Chemo on Friday fucks me up some of the time. I feel the effects all week, but it peters out. I used to walk 10 miles a day. I'd love to walk for various causes.
My daughter in San Diego suffers from lupus...she can walk outside though...just not sunbathe or over do it...hope you find comfort in dealing with it.
I'm quite fine as long as I keep my routine and avoid what triggers bad things. I can walk outsde, but I limit myself to no more than an hour. Carrying stuff or using tools to fix or build things will make me regret it later.
While George W. plays peek-a-boo Obama looks like he's praying hard just to keep his vomit down. Those are some funny pictures any way you look at it.
