I mean what's the problem. There's a border and a lot of latinos run across it illegally and we don't know who the fuck they are, can't count them, they just kind of show up. Yeah, maybe they can dig a tunnel or a ladder, but the wall makes it harder. Its just kind of a basic thing to do when there is a true problem with illegals coming into the USA.

The best swimmers land in Florida, and are from Cuba. The wall won't reach that far. The best pole vaulters and fastest runners are from Mexico. The wall will only slow them down, a little.
So now we will only get super-drug dealers, super-rapists, and super-criminals and I assume some super-good people.
The wall doesn't stop the problem. Businesses can still hire them. Landlords can still rent to them. Banks can still lend to them. So we can profit off of them being here, we're just going to make it harder for them to get here. That doesn't make sense.
The wall is one part of solving the problem. Add the extra ICE agents, strict e-verify and biometrics and you have a combination that will work.
at a cost of billions...we're probably spending millions for each Mexican we keep out.....not my idea of fiscal responsibility. Most Euro immigrants enter through Canada anyway....where's the Canadian wall?
That's like punishing the crack users but ignoring the dealers. E-verify will prevent some employers from hiring illegals but they can and do just hire them as independent contractors. What about your neighbors who hire illegals for their home landscaping?
