Fair enough. What I -do- know, better? I still wish for you to respect that you don't bully me about placing bets when you knew about my past. That's all I ask.
I didn't know anything about your past. But I'll tell you this. I bet magnifier Hillary would win and ON ELECTION NIGHT, I paid the guy the $100. Unlike SOME people, I accept when I'm wrong.
If they haven't playing to the best of their ability to this point, then they really, really don't deserve any individual honors. Plus, I'd want them traded for players who don't wait for "slights" to really try. But I don't actually think that's true, that they need incentive to play harder. They're playing as hard as they can.
Why is that a good argument to discount the stats? Averages are averages of a whole and AS selection should be based on the whole not just the recent, same with all NBA.
Didn't say it was an argument -I- would make... it's more just a theory. I just stated it as fact, which I shouldn't have.
I get that the Jazz and Warriors are winning teams but come on. Gordon Hayward is a good player but come the fuck on he isn't even star caliber yet. Draymond Green? shit even Klay Thompson? all star game is whack. Oh well I guess
Hawyard/Gobert, Klay, Conley/Gasol, and Dame/CJ are a toss-up on the year for what, 3 spots? Of that group, our guys stand out as the massively under-performing team to-date. It's not hard to see why we didn't get the honors.
I remember other people from other fanbases saying exactly the same thing about Brandon Roy when he was getting to the AS game based on good (but not necessarily great) stats and a good winning percentage.
