Durant was sprawled out on the floor in front of him. He didn't really have any space to go to the rim.

I would almost gurantee Stotts told them to go for the win. No way you wanna go to OT with them when we had a chance to win.

Yeah, but you can't ask for a better shot. Lillard and CJ got shut out and we still ended up getting a great look.

How the fuck am I the voice of reason after a heartbreaking loss right now? Usually I'd be punching shit at this time.

haha. It really is simple, though. Turner had a great look, you take that and live with it regardless what happens. I'd argue we could get on Dame or CJ just as much for not making a better attempt to get the ball and try and create/make the shot.

Just heartbreaking, as this win would've probably ensured we'd be 27-29 or something like that by the all-star break.

With the way our schedule is, I still think we go 10-12 games above .500 after the all-star break. That just means we can only afford one more loss in this upcoming stretch of games if we want any shot of the 6th seed and a possible 1st round win against Houston.

I just hate that GS gets to walk out all smug like they bested us, when they got lucky.

I feel like every close game has been a loss this year. I feel like 4 game winners have been hit against us, and games like tonight's have been heartbreakers as well.

We could easily be 26-23 right now...

I think we scored 12 points in the last 31 seconds. Almost 15! Wow.

Without the free throw disparity we would have beat them handily.

I wasn't able to watch, but just looking at the team stats it seems we should have won by 5+ points. Then I see the free throw differential and now I understand :(

I don't get it. People constantly bitch out Dame and CJ for playing hero ball, and they bitch out Stotts for forcing the ball to Dame at the end of games, but then when we get a WIDE OPEN shot to win a game by someone else, almost everyone complains that we should have had Dame or CJ force a shitty shot with about .1% chance of going in. We were trying to force it to Dame or CJ, but they denied it. I don't think ET was even going to look to shoot it except he shook Durant so hard he found himself wide open and he had to shoot it. It's not like he had a ton of time to make up his mind either.
