    He answered her question.

Legit hispanic voters are afraid to vote IF their voter registration allows government to go to their house and find their family members that may be undocumented. The undocumented family members are afraid if their legal family members vote, they'll get busted.

Obama is telling her that since she's legal, she should go vote. The government doesn't share the voter registration with other agencies that deal with immigration.

I don't see anything wrong with encouraging people who are eligible to vote to actually go and vote.

It seems a little awkward at most.

I'm not exactly a big fan of Obama's policies, but on this one I don't find any fault.

If we allowed Mexico to vote Hillary would be our president.

    He said, "WHEN YOU VOTE."

YOU is "her." That's who he was talking to and about.

    Completely serious.

There are plenty of useful clubs to bash Obama with, this isn't one of them.

"Undocumented citizens are fearful of voting. So if I vote, will immigration know where I live? Will they come for my family and deport us?"

She wasn't talking about herself, she was speaking on behalf of illegal immigrants, or "undocumented citizens"

And he wasn't talking about her, he was talking about the demographic of people, that she was speaking for.

Why would she be fearful of immigration deporting her, if she's legal?

    I means herself.

Undocumented citizens are afraid of voting. Not the act of voting themselves, but voting in general.

Both those legit and undocumented are afraid of the legit voters voting.

Since Trump ended up being elected I would say their fears were justified.

She's fearful the government would share her legit voter registration info (her home address) with immigration who would then come for her family.

Her family is afraid that if she votes, immigration will come for them.

It's not like Obama said, "undocumented immigrants should go out and vote." He never said that.

He told her she should vote because she has the right as a citizen. Not to fear immigration. Her vote is especially important to influence immigration reform agenda.

She asks as clear as day if illegals should be afraid to vote. Dreamers and undocumented. Then she call them citizens. If people don't think he clearly stated that illegals have nothing to fear by voting they are being disingenuous.

Illegal immigrants should be fearful of voting. The same way that they should be fearful of breaking any other law.

So when she said "us" she was talking about herself as well?

The President when asked about "undocumented" immigrants voting should tell them to vote in their home country where they belong.

How can you investigate fraud if you don't commit it?

Ha! That reminds me of this scene from Training Day.

Well to be fair he only voted once.

I don't think that's the kind of fraud, if any, to be found.

The fraud would be tens of thousands per year over decades, if not more, undocumented immigrants getting registered through assorted programs designed to increase legal voter turnout.

The person shows his ID at the polling place and is allowed to vote. It would be hard to detect. Nobody asked me for proof of citizenship to register.

Another form of fraud is where the precinct worker punches thousands of ballots and adds them to the legit ones. There is often news about more votes cast than registered voters in various places.

Yet another is dead people who were registered, somehow voting.

The talk about registration in two places doesn't matter unless the person votes twice. That would be easy to detect.

It seems to matter to Trump.

"I will be asking for a major investigation into VOTER FRAUD, including those registered to vote in two states"

Breaking news, people who are registered to vote sometimes die.
