In all honesty I have come to believe that the supposed left-right dichotomy is a forced attempt at tribalization (if that's a word). I get tired of Trumpies calling everybody they dislike "The Left". So I guess Evan McMullin is a leftie. Where do you put radical nuns (who do actually exist) or even the Pope? So short answer: I'm floating off the chart in another dimension.
I think in a sports forum picking two teams is habitual.....they'll have two captains who choose sides by rock paper scissors....it's failed our govt miserably but folks hang onto their rivalries around here. I'm just anti Trump across the board and wouldn't matter which party he ran for office under. You can see how easily a subject around here devolves into some folks needing their team for high fives and locker room talk
