That's not the way it works. We show them support and they reward us with winning. Or you can be a fair weather fan.

 

What?! Haha... So fans are supposed to blindly give their hard earned money to a support a shit product... to support players making 20+ mil a year who say they got to get better after losses but do nothing about it, and a GM who is sitting on his hands. You think Lillard cares about you? Haha... he is getting paid bro... and your funds are going in opposite direction. I feel sorry for you that you have wasted so much money for a team going no where... you might as well have stayed home and put your cash into a shredder.

I'm assuming you are a Trail Blazer fan, or you wouldn't be here. Did an ex-player hook up with your girl or something? There is a TON of hate towards our team in this post. What gives?

 

I'm a die hard life long fan... but I'm always thinking big picture. When I see the team is flawed and feel like players and GM are not trying, I'm not financially supporting them. I still watch all the games... this team, as it is currently constructed, is going no where... but I think we have the pieces to make a contender, they just don't fit together, and we need to make some major trades. I rarely post, but I read here a lot... I got sick of this guy blowing his wad on traveling with the team calling everyone fair weather... I do think this season is over, and I am rooting for a tank, but not a complete rebuild... just to get a higher pick to package in a trade, then make a legit run next year

So you believe in the players but won't support them? I have a blast at the games win or lose. On TV, it's only fun if we win. But if you don't support team when things are bad, then by definition, you are a fairweather fan. Own the distinction with pride.

 

No. You don't have to go to games. But if you quit supporting the team in any way, you are a fair weather fan. How else would you describe it?

 

By the way, I haven't been paying for games. Thunder and Mavs gave me free tickets.

 

Early in season, you said you wanted competitive losses and wanted to beat good teams. Well we have been in every game since the lineup change and could easily be on a 7 game winning streak. Meanwhile, over the last month, we have beaten the top two teams in the East and the Grizzlies who said we are a good defensive team. Dame scored 13 straight points in 4th quarter while guarded by Tony Allen. Step by step, things are turning around.

 

So the fans should only fill Moda when the team is winning? That would make us a bunch of fairweather fans.
