Saying it over and over doesn't make it true. During the campaign he didn't say he was going to put Mexico on a tuition reimbursement program... He said Mexico will pay for the wall.

If the avocado before cost $5 and after the tariff cost $5, then it's Mexico paying the tariff.

During the campaign, he did say he'd get Mexico to pay for the wall. He didn't say he'd get them to write one big check for it.

In some sense, Mexico has been benefiting from their cheap labor and our outsourcing, resulting in a trade deficit with them in the tens of $billions. I see nothing wrong with trying to at least make it no deficit, and ideally a trade surplus.

If it were up to me, all the government's revenues would be from tariffs.

    That conservative talk-show host again:
    https://www.nytimes.com/2017/02/04/opinion/sunday/why-nobody-cares-the-president-is-lying.html

"Mr. Trump understands that attacking the media is the reddest of meat for his base, which has been conditioned to reject reporting from news sites outside of the conservative media ecosystem.

For years, as a conservative radio talk show host, I played a role in that conditioning by hammering the mainstream media for its bias and double standards. But the price turned out to be far higher than I imagined. The cumulative effect of the attacks was to delegitimize those outlets and essentially destroy much of the right’s immunity to false information. We thought we were creating a savvier, more skeptical audience. Instead, we opened the door for President Trump, who found an audience that could be easily misled."

    Give it a click - it's a good read.

If you can't realize that some in both pictures could be both, brainwashed is the least of your problems.

Silly post. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that 1% of Christians are terrorists just like 1% of Muslims are. Damming the whole religion makes you brainwashed. Get it now?

So only 22 million Christians and 16 million Muslims to want to avoid?

I can't wrap my head around people on the left embracing any religion let alone Islam. Does Scientology hate gays?
