    I think it's pretty clear that our front office/ownership felt that way with the money they sank into this team.

    Who DO you want to take Crabbe's minutes? Ingles averages 6 ppg. Crabbe averages 10.

    We did it because they were young and we wanted to retain our assets. We could go over the cap to sign them but can't go over the cap to sign anyone else of note.

    Bottom line Crabbe not the problem but he not worth 19 million dollars neither. We lost this game at the beginning of the 3rd QT when we came out flat the whole game turn from there even though we made runs at them but to me that was the turning point. 2nd why wasn't Harkless in there guarding Thomas he did a pretty good job on him in the 1st half.

    Crabbe in the lineup with Dame, CJ, Mase and Chief outscored opponents 7.5 points per 100 possessions last season. That same lineup is a -10 this season.

    I doubt they would behappy with the outcome regardless of the money. Fans seem to have a bigger issue with the contracts than ownership. Until the money is a problem, it's not really the problem. We will see how it effects us this summer. But the alternative was to simply not sign them. How would that makes us better now?

    Our two best players in their prime is currently yielding us a 23-31 record. Whatever. It's contention or bust in this league and we're currently not even close.

    It's purgatory. We don't suck enough for an impact player in the draft. You need to deal the picks to team that is at the start of a rebuild and wants flexibility.

    We're not that far from having a bottom 5 record, actually. If we commit to playing the younger guys the rest of the way and finish with 30-32 wins, we could very easily make some noise in the lottery. That's going to have to be the saving grace of this turd of a season.

    I agree not to throw away the picks for a guy like Vucevic... but if those picks can get a guy like Noel or Okafor who can both contribute now and have huge upside, you make the trade... I just don't want to draft a 19 year old that is years away
