And just right now, Brooks dunks over a 7 footer. Next trip back, he sinks a deep 3...

No. They more talented individually than Gonzaga. Altman just doesn't take annual recruiting trips to Outer Mongolia.

    LMAO.

Williams-Goss is better than anyone they have.
Collins has a better draft stock than all of them.
Karnowski would beast on that skinny front line of Oregon.

Gonzaga also doesn't have the recruiting resources that Oregon has.

They aren't more talented individually. Karnowski and Williams-Goss would both be starters at Oregon. Maybe even Perkins. Collins might be the best 6th man in the nation. Oregon's love affair with athletic 3 shooters has been going on about 15 years strong.

Karnowski is the difference maker. Not too many teams can throw the ball down low to a legit 7'1" 300lb guy with great post moves and can pass. He'll dominate the tournament.

Agree to disagree. But serious, much respect to the Zags. I wish Few had signed on when Ernie left. But Altman's pretty damn good.

Recruiting resources?? Yeah. That's sure helped the football team. But seriously, love the Zags.

Altman is a good coach, great recruiter. But honestly, his scheme is a gimmick that I don't think can win it all. I could be wrong. But, too much 3 and D. They win when they dictate the pace. Which, they usually do.

Tommy Lloyd is the genius behind the recruiting overseas. I'm surprised he hasn't left for a head coaching gig. Watch for Rui Hachimura. A freshman from Japan. An NBA prospect for sure.

I think he'll go as far as his talent. The players he has now are the best he's ever had. He's so used to transfers that we're finally seeing what he's capable of with four year Top 100 prospects. If Pritchard develops as pure point guard and they develop a center in the next few years, I think they have a good chance. Right now they go as far as their shooting.

I haven't watch Zags play yet but I am just getting into watching the college play. But believe if there a player that good enough to play in the NBA some scout will find them. If you look at the Mock draft so far ever site is different after the 3rd pick.

Yeah, I'm a bandwagon fan, when it comes to women's basketball. I already invest WAY too much time on the Blazers. Lol. Oregon State has had me hooked for a couple years now though.... So, I can say I don't know too much about her. I did see she got player of the week, after an injury.....

Yeah. I have heard some other Zags fans talk about him. Too bad Romar has that sweet Seattle recruiting scene locked up, esp with Roy coach of the local power house.
I was amazed we got Keith Smith away from the Fuskies. I LOOOOOOOOVE the fact that Gonzaga is right on their next door.

Huskies always suck. I'm surprised good players still go there. A lot of them just have that one and done in their mind and don't give a shit. Williams-Goss realized he made a mistake and actually wanted to be coached. He's been better than I ever dreamed of.

No. We either trade McCollum for someone like Butler or the 3rd pick and then take Fultz 1st (and Jackson 3rd if possible.

    Lillard
    Fultz
    Jackson (or Butler)
    PF
    Nurkic

That would be great, offensively and defensively.

If we got 1st we could take Fultz and trade him for both of Philadelphia's picks, and take Jackson and another player (Tatum?), or use that pick and others to trade for someone like Butler

    Lillard
    McCollum / Jackson
    Butler / Jackson
    PF
    Nurkic

I hope that is true....and Bell, Brooks, and Dorsey all came back for one more year. With their recruiting class they would be so much fun to watch next year.

My guess is they are all gone. Dorsey will play in Greece since it's doubtful he gets drafted. Bell might stay if he thinks he can win a title. If they can land that Brandon McCoy kid then they have nothing to fear. Troy Brown may be the most talent recruit Oregon has ever signed.

Yeah I am not counting on them coming back, but Dorsey should.
Troy Brown is very talented but his outside shot is not quite there.....yet
McCoy is needed if Bell leaves. But damn what if they all came back and they added McCoy?
The recruiting class is long and athletic and I expect to see Dana's 3/4 press to be more effective.

One guy no ones talked about: Harry Giles

Draft Express has him falling to 19th. If he falls to our Memphis pick, I don't see how we could not take him. Yes he has injury trouble and he might not amount to anything, and we in Portland don't have much luck with knees, but if you get a chance to draft talent like that in the mid to late 1st round, you have to do it. Especially with our needs at the PF position.
