It just pisses me off that Dame-badgers never critically think about anything. It's always vague statements like "He doesn't make his teammates better".
You aren't making much sense in this thread. You're claiming Curry is a better comparison, but then you give a stat that shows he's closer to Marbury than Curry. You claim PER is flawed. You claim Arenas is a bad comparison because of off-court stuff, but then claim Arenas was a good player other than his attitude (seemingly defending Dame's statistical comparison). Other than bad attitude and cursing, I don't see you bringing a lot to the discussion here, man.
You'll get a personal attack warning, so you may want to edit that. Some day the rest of us will know as much about basketball as you
Holy shit. Lillard can't MAKE Aminu hit 3s. Turner isn't a player than anyone can MAKE better. Lillard couldn't MAKE Plumlee finish at the rim like a real big man. Lillard can't MAKE Meyers hit 3s or okay strong in the paint. Lillard has MADE Harkless better He COULDN'T because of his teammates.
If we're talking strictly basketball and not personality or likability then I think the Arenas and Marbury comparisons are probably pretty close. In some ways I kind of wish Damian was a shithead; in a twist, it'd probably make management's decisions about what to do with him a lot easier.
Do you people not pay attention? I'm saying that Lillard compares as well to Curry as he does to Marbury.
No way that's correct. Jordan would have pubched Leonard until he pulled his head out of his ass. Bird and Magic would have demanded it. Dame doesn't do that. Not a complaint
How does a great player make Aminu, Meyers, or Turner hit their 3s? How could a great player make Plumlee finish strong at the rim? You blame Dame for his teammates deficiencies, but also regularly cry about how players like Meyers are complete trash.
Demanding a player to possess skills he doesn't have isn't going to make him possess those skills. And we definitely don't need Dame punching people in the gave because they're not good players.
I think they are more saying Meyers still wouldn't become good even if all that happened. You can lead a horse to water - blah blah.
