Chriss, Warren and a pick maybe, this years pick. I don't think Phoenix are dealing Booker but if so, this is a no brainer.

I don't agree with that assessment of him at all.

I think not winning a ring with the Spurs sans Duncan would crush Lamarcus...and so it should.

It took a while for me to get there, but after a while it was just too much. He's definitely not stupidly homered like KS, but after a while it was just too much homer for me to read.

He's probably like "I thought I was coming here to get carried. Why didn't you tell me Duncan was going to retire so soon?"

Warren, Len, Bender, Chriss.......all could be an option.

In a parallel universe, if Aldridge apologized for leaving and admitted it was a mistake, and Spurs told us they love Meyers so much they are willing to give us Aldridge and two picks for him, would you take him back?

I don't think I've seen Bender play. Heard a lot about him being the new Porzingis but aside from both coming from Europe I don't know how similar they really are.

    Len is meh.

Not sure if I buy that. Last year, with Aldridge the Spurs won 67 games, the most in franchise history. During the rest of the Duncan era, the most games they ever won during the regular season was 63 games - one time. Guess how any game they are on pace to win this year, with Aldridge, without Duncan. That's right 63.

Please note: for those prone to leaping to wild ass conclusions, I did not just say that LaMarcus Aldridge is as good as Tim Duncan. Just to be clear, he's not. He's not even their best player. That's Kawhii. All I'm saying is that the Spurs are winning (at a franchise record pace) with Aldridge. So, he must not be that much of a problem/disappointment.

Sure, they lost in the second round of the playoffs last year, but they lost several times in the first and second round during the Duncan era and never panicked. They just aren't a team that panics and blows things up. They are more of a team that makes minor tweaks to build around what they have.

Nope! I hated watching him play "basketball". It's him and Travis Outlaw as the two fan favorites that I want to expunge from my Blazers memory. Aminu would have joined them, but thankfully his fan favorite cred has mostly evaporated...Gerald Wallace or Abdur-Rahim are probably the next closest.

Two players that barely get mentioned, who might get moved by the deadline: Andrew Bogut and P.J. Tucker. BOS could use both. If Ainge can't come up with a way to fleece CHI for Butler without giving up either BRK pick (which he absolutely will not do), look for him to fall back to add role players like Bogut and Tucker.

agree on Bogut for sure, that sure would seem to be a backup plan for him as Celts get killed on the boards

Not the first time SA has considered that with LA.

    ALL DAY EVERY DAY.

Edit: I'd then waive LMA... I just want Meyers to be traded.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
I'd take Aldridge back whether or not he apologized, if all it cost was Meyers (even if Meyers apologized). He'd fit well next to Nurkic.

Not very, other than being tall. Bender is less athletic and not much of a shot-blocker, but has more guard skills. A taller Toni Kukoc was the optimistic comparison.
