I am not sure who is better between Okafor and Nurk, my only concern was if management liked Okafor more they should not have let the 20th pick in the draft changed their mind. Always take the better player. Of course like others have said, who really knows the truth. Only Blazer management really knows for sure how they valued the two young centers.
/ Isnt it to crowded in the frontcourt? Also, 3/4/5 outside shooting would be almost non existent (and i really like hark)
Good point being made about needing to dump salary in order to retain Noel if we got him. I'm a fan though and would be jazzed if Neil made a move for him. DPOY potential.
I'd rather have guys who know they can't shoot 3's but are happy to feast on easy buckets inside, rather than guys who are mediocre but trigger-happy outside shooters.
It's probably Crabbe and a first and I'm guessing Philly is asking for ours while Neil wants to send Clevelands.
So meet in the middle and send Memphis's But really i think it will take a lot more than that to get Noel
Philly going to wait the last minute to trade Okafor and maybe Noel. Whose ever has the best offer at that time will be getting Okafor and maybe Noel.
No way Crabbe says no to Philly, he gets his chunky trade bonus and he gets to start and immediately becomes their best wing.
I think it would be fine, and our shooting in those spots would actually be improved overall. Maybe not from 3, but in general. Plumlee was less than zero as a shooting threat, and teams dare Aminu to shoot us out of the game all the time...
