    I'm not convinced of that.

For sure. But.... He doesn't have much competition blocking him at the moment so maybe he stays happy.

Yeah I don't see a lot of white Euros being the leader of NBA teams. Maybe by example, and maybe one of the leaders, but not thee vocal leader. Dirk gets away with it because he is a hall of fame type player.

Exactly. RoLo and Dame thrived for several reasons, but foremost among those is that the organization made it clear to them that they were the starters from day 1. BB27 has the same thing, and that is what he's been craving his whole career.

It's too bad that we're going to have to trade Nurk next season because he's going to get paid more than Plumlee would have.

It wouldn't seem very debatable about who the starter will be for the near future. Not much competition. I agree it would be nice to find another big body with quick feet who can pass--if possible for backup duty.

Zactly. Not like Meyers is suddenly going to develop into a man in the post.

I wouldn't drown myself in tax for Plums, much as I like him. I think they'd be more likely to take a hit for Nurk, though we have time to get the salary situation under control.

Or even a real PF. Someone who can go in or out would work well with Nurk.

I think this is one of the most exciting things for me. With BB27, we're totally good at the C position. We're also set at PG, SG, and the Harkless/Aminu/ET monster means we're set at SF, too. We only have a big hole at PF, and 3 1st rounders to fill it in. If they can be parleyed into an above average NBA starting PF, I think we have a team comparable to the Lillard/Wes/Batum/LMA/RoLo team, except younger.

Can't keep Dame, CJ, Turner and Nurkic. Too many max/near max contracts.

And before you say get rid of Turner I think his midrange game is going to work awesome with Nurk.

I'm pretty sure this isn't true, but it will require some staggering of salaries.

I wish they would have included some of his 1st quarter passes where our players missed the shot. Those were impressive.
