He really regrouped in the 4th, he is quickly becoming my fave player behind Dame.

Did you read the secondary headline? Westbrook's one-man show not enough to defeat Blazers' balanced attack. Very complimentary of us.

I really don't think dumping Crabbe's contracts (without giving up extra incentives) will be as impossible as some think this summer.....if they choose to go that rout.
    Great game of the bench.

I was watching ESPN not reading the game report.... I haven't gone on their website in months. But I occasionally flip through the channels.

As long as he remembers to say we won the game and not the Thunder. I am fine with it.

Rewatching the end. Adam's screen on Crabbe was hilarious when Oladipo hit the 3 with 26 seconds left. He looked like a pulling guard blocking down field. And again on Harkless with 12 seconds left

He was moving all over until he finally got into Crabbe, and then he just kept shuffling along with him.

Maybe we can trade him for a second-rounder? Ya know, get back that pick we gave up to get him?

The last 3QT we out scored them 100-79 so not bad on the defense side. But the 1st Qt where our was kind out wack.

I think we could get a late first and an expiring contract for him.

There's many players making $12-$15M that are at the same level or worse than him. Most are older.

If a team really wants a wing, I think they'd rather pay an extra $3M-$6M for the dude who's a 40% shooter and still 24 years old, than for a dude like Courtney Lee, who isn't going to improve upon his already mediocre play.

Honestly though, doesn't it seem like the larger story is how Westbrook's skill is largely squandered especially with Durant departed? The resurgence of the Blazers is definitely a C level story at this point. I don't blame em.

Yeah Nurk was pretty bad in the first half. Just trying to do way too much. Even he laughed at how bad he was in his post game interview. But in the end he outplayed Adams...again. Adams is a top 3 defensive center and usually bullies everyone on the court but man, I don't think he likes playing against Nurk too much.

Also, they're listed at the same height, but there's no way. Nurk has at least two inches on him. I think Nurk is a legit 7'2.

I read your post and saw, "Ha! I love the ESPN headline: "Westbrook's big name goes to waste."" I thought, now that was an odd headline. Let's see that again.

Just finished watching the game. Here are my thoughts before I read the thread. It was a fucking AWESOME game and victory. So many players playing so well on offense. GREAT game by Vonleh. Meyers was awesome, a plus 24 when on the floor. Nurkic actually played pretty badly to start both halves but then he delivered in the clutch. Aminu is quickly becoming my favorite Blazer. His defense, his shooting, and critical rebounding. Love him. Love Napier. That guy doesn't fuck around. Hit his one shot and it was huge. Crabbe, of course, was awesome. CJ was in no pass mode most of the game but he made some big plays at the end and played pretty good D on Russ near the end of the game. Dame made some big shots to ge us going and had to deal with a lot of no-calls that must've been very frustrating. I credit him for not getting thrown out of the game. Sheed would've. Anyway, great game in which we delivered on the road in front of a hostile crowd while a superstar was torching us. This is what we did in Boston and Dallas too. These three wins were my favorites of the season. We didn't crack when we really could've. Anyway, go BlaZers!!! 4-2 since the All Star break!

I know you don't change winning formula and I'm very happy we play team ball and Dame is PG all of sudden. Love Nurk as much as you. There is one thing. Can someone explain me why Layman doesn't play a single minute? He could be our dark horse in playoffs at some game. Like CJ or Aminu was before. I understand Stotts keeps baseball player on the bench and there's no space for Tim. But why can't you keep Jake in contact with the team for few minutes knowing he can score 3s? Putting him in ice block will make him useless for playoffs. Sorry if you were thru that already.
