I feel a little bad for immediately thinking this was about LMA sand bagging.

I watched a post game interview from him when the Spurs were blown out the other day and he was sounding really strange....more than usual...I wondered if something was going on with him

I feel good that I hoped that is what it meant and wasn't medical.

Yep. which is why I said ...returned...

While he isn't liked near as much around here as he was you never like to see something like this happen to someone. Hope it goes well.

I hope he gets better soon.

Ironically (and not for the laugh), just a few days ago I read Zach Lowe's post about LMA being forced into the paint and thriving vs. the conventional (NBA 'insider') wisdom that SAS would have him shooting more 3's. As many of us in here called, Popovich is making him take his skills to the paint, and it's working. I remember thinking, "I hope his body can take it", remembering his heart issues and his disdain for banging in the post.

Sucks, I remember when it happened last time. Hopefully it gets better and he's okay.

Hope for the best for him, yet will not refrain from believing that he has no heart

Poor guy. I do hope he can come back for the playoffs so the Spurs can knock off the Warriors.

He needs to retire tomorrow. He has enough money, and it would fuck over the Spurs.

I would never wish poor health on anyone. Even a life long purple and piss player.

I hope it's all good for LMA

Heart arrhythmia can lead to strokes, I'm speaking from personal experience . . .

I was one of LA's biggest detractors during his time with our Blazers.

With that said, get well soon, partner.

Is it serious, or has Pop found a player with a rest whenever for however long benefit?

    Hoping for the latter.
