No way. UNC has the easiest path to the Final Four. Look at their potential competition. Who could beat them besides maybe Kentucky?
When have you seen a #1 seed not get their first lead until 49 seconds til halftime? Against a 16 seed? That wasn't concerning for you?
First day and today hardest days on me for sure. I've lost 3 sweet 16 teams so far. Felling good overall, still have all elite 8 teams left in this bracket. Best bracket is 27/34 - unfortunately it has Nova in the final 4. Kentucky is going to need to play better against Wich St than they did in the first round. If they don't get it clicking and show their elite potential with a solid win over Wich St then I will be concerned for them going into the UCLA matchup. Isaac needs to be big for FSU going forward. Arizona looked good but Trier is going to need to step up if they want to get past SMU
You are right on that, I was just meaning a #1 has lost in the second round a decent amount. Maybe I misunderstood your meaning.
Zags came out of that time out early in the game, stepped it up on defense, and NW hasn't been able to do anything since. Zags look primed for a deep run this year.
If you took Vonleh right now and put him on a college team would he be the #1 pick in the draft? He would dominate the college game at this point in his career. Still has a lot of growing into the NBA game though.
NW cuts it to 3 with the momentum, and the refs become a factor.........not one of the 3 officials saw the defender's hand go up through the net to block the shot.? How is that possible? The coach could easily see it and gets hit with a 2 shot technical. 4 point swing, momentum gone, game over. I would be so pissed if I cared who won.
More into the WBC right now but still some good games in MM. Gaels kept it close but refs really fucked up a call as the AZ center pushed a player out of bounds. Really changed the late momentum of the game. I can't wait for Sunday.
