Don't want to jinx but Denver could easily lose their next four while we could def win our next four if we're sharp.
Yes, division record is the second tie breaker. I covered that in detail in the Playoff Odds thread this morning: Of course, since we are up 2-1 in the first tie breaker (head to head record) with one game left, there is no way DEN can win that one. BNM
Even without KD, GSW owns OKC. That makes the season series 4-0, with an average margin of victory of 19.8 points (none of the games were closer than 16 points). BNM
Honestly, congrats to Denver and to Portland. Both teams are playing really well right now. If both play this well next year, it'll be a great season for both. #noshameinlosingby1
That helps us but it is a stupid rule if true. The 2nd tie breaker should be based on the conference record not the division. What if you are in different divisions? I could see it for the division title, but not for a playoff birth in the conference.
I wonder if it's ever come to the 7th tiebreaker. That would not be good for Utah if it came to that!
Has anybody else heard about this? Apparently it's a marketing ploy, but it's pretty weird. http://ftw.usatoday.com/2017/03/nba...rant-hassan-whiteside-potato-parcel-interview
Haha yeah I think I heard Dirk talking about getting a potato with himself face on it in the mail. I just thought it was because he is one of the goats.
